Re: New Cricket Season (Lancashire League/Ribblesdale League)

Lowerhouse are a club in transition. There will be changes both on and off the pitch which is inevitable in a very competitive league. I'll take a mid table position with a Worsley Cup win again. Our sub pro in the cup final last season had a 'dream' innings which turned the tie in our favour. Over ...

My mate and I stood toe to toe with some lads in between the coaches down on the bottom road.

After kicking the crap out of each other we realised all of us were Burnley.

Conroy's goal was scored at their end.

Sort of.

1,000 Burnley were next to their corner and went a bit mental.

Some interesting chaos ensued.

Marvelous times.

Some of the most memorable experiences happened that season.

Almost getting killed at Cardiff might top the list.

It was a bit tasty before and after the match. We had all our windows on our mini bus smashed. Arnside: Nice place but a 2 bedroom cottage would cost the best part of £300,000.

However, Padiham is on the up and up. Strike whilst the iron is hot. At the moment, £300,000 will buy you a full street and a few shops.
