Just logged on and was shocked and saddened to hear of Peter Noble's death.
I recall seeing him play in the mid seventies and he was one of the best.
Brought me back to earth somewhat on a day where we should be celebrating
and possibly still should do so in memory of Peter Noble alongside staying up.

So confident I'm willing to put a £1000 on it.

Re: Interest in Heaton
I suspect Heaton is one of our better paid players but even with a biggish bonus payment due
could probably make 20k more at Newcastle.
That's a significant amount but not the difference between struggling to survive for the rest of his days
and being able to not worry about his pension.

Re: £8.5 million end of season bonus to be shared amongst players.
whatever the final figure is it does seem like the best way of rewarding the players based on number of starts. Wish I few more clubs would do the same as it might make it easier for us to attract some better players. It means some players will up their weekly average by 10-12k to close to 40k a wee...

Ulloa has his strengths but I don't think he's that big an upgrade
on Vokes or Barnes.
Hes only scored once this season I believe but hasn't really
started that many games for them as he's third choice at present.
We need to unearth another Gray or better.

I think Flanagan ahs to start if Ward is still injured. Having already forecast a 2-1 win I don't really care what the score is as
long as we actually win and secure out place in the Premiership at the Turf.
Ideally with a great performance and a 4-1 win ( Gray hatrick, + last minute Defour 30 yarder).

I think it could either way. As long as complacency doesn't show it's face then I think we should be capable of beating West Brom. Although can see them scoring given it's such a long time since they have done. We should be up for it after our win at Palace so I'll go for 2-1. Keane and Gray to score.

As boiledclaret said there were very few who gave us much of a chance of getting 3 points at Palace, myself amongst them. Great result for Swansea and they could have won it. It might just be too early for him and/or he might nor be ready and good enough but
