Thanks to all for the responses. The thing that caught my eye yesterday was nearly all the icons were red (even though I read just about all posts) today they're blue. I wondered whether being logged in or not made a difference but it didn't.

What the icons beside the topics indicate. Some are red others blue, some have a little star, the shapes are not all the same. I've looked in the FAQ's but didn't see the answer.
