That's understandable jlup but we don't have the money to bring in an expensive young left back, paying him high wages to be there in case Ward gets injured. I would hope that if we stay up this is one of the priorities the club takes. If we lose a chunk of capacity becasue of it its not a major issue really is it? We rarely fill the ground anyway and I would hope a prolonged stay in the PL would bring in some further ground improvements as well. This is...

My dad took me on what I thought at the time was Stoke but it could've been Forest. I was about 12 so it was a few years into the Ternent era. Don't know the score, think it was a draw.

The biggest difference is the pressing from the front against City Arsenal and Tottenham, we tried to press them and force them to go long, if we had adopted the same mentality and tactics away from home sooner, we'd have an away win by now. Agreed. We showed far too much respect early in the season.

a few notes about the perceived foul, foregoing the fact it was massively offside: 1. the OP is obviously referring to the fact we lost in the last minute from a penalty that was at best iffy and clearly offside and at worst a penalty and blatantly offside - nothing to do with Swansea or Everton?
