Re: Burnley fans on Ashley Barnes
I reckon Gooners fans are the most disliked lot in the PL, the team itself consists of cheats, divers and spit out dummy babies, how they got away with the blatant block on Ash is beyond me, a great shame Spurs got pegged back yesterday.

One less wage to pay i suppose, pity we didn't see more of him but injuries kept him out for the most of his clarets days, a classy player when he was fit though. Good luck to him.

Well said Dave, as a club we know who we are, we know not to expect too much, we have the best supporters, the best manager and a group of players who will give 100% that is all we need to survive against the clubs with endless money pits. Awful performance by England, i thought all the City players were shocking apart from Walker, trying to play out from the back was a total disaster and we still insisted on playing that way when it was obvious that it wasn't working, a proper shambles.

I agree with most, Spurs was a terrific result but performance wise it has to be West Ham, we played some lovely football that day, we outplayed and outclassed the Hammers in every department and it would have been a few more goals but for their keeper pulling of some great saves.

We deffo need to strengthen in mf, we are nowhere near physical enough in that area, we get knocked off the ball too easily and we are forever giving it away in these areas, we need at least one big, strong midfielder, who can throw a bit of weight around, but with some pace as well.
