I wasn’t sure whetherJimmy’s still well enough to go.
Great to see the others still going.

A catered chalet is a top way to do it. Did it for the wife’s last two milestone birthdays. Food, drink, accommodation and transport all included, every day. And cheap equipment hire. If you want I’ll dig out the company name.

Great location. Great scenery. Great skiing. You may need to sell some vital organs, wife or kids to pay for the odd coffee or beer.

I remember it well. I walked up to Ames Records in Clitheroe to buy “Save all your kisses for me”. I wish it’d been my mothers birthday a year later - but not sure she’d have appreciated “New Rose”. Still. A bit of honesty.

Re: Alzheimers Shirt Raffle - Ends 30 September
My father in law died last week. Mother in law in a home on her last legs with dementia. My wife has taken the decision not to tell her mum. Controversial, I know. She won’t be at the funeral which is so sad. But imagine if you can’t remember what someone said to you ten minutes ago - or not knowing...

Joking aside. A dreadful illness that has a massive influence on my family. Despite the horrors of the illness, you occasionally have to fight the sadness with a nod to dark humour.

Rather invest any money in players that can sustain prolonged Premier League football. Better football means better crowds. Better crowds mean better income. Maybe have this debate then.

It’s strange - but having stood in the Longside for years with a wobbly pint, and sat in the CFS with a few pints on the go, I never really saw beer thrown. Spilled - maybe. But you still tried to save your pint. Walking into the Longside with 3 or more pints should have been a round in “Its a Knock...

Listen. I expressed my opinions last night in one post. I responded to your post as you challenged me - and I understand why, as I skirted around his behaviour. We were guests in the managers lounge in the CFS. Great meal, hospitality, and good company. He looked after us all day and took us into the CFS hospitality room to meet Dyche. He looked after you all day, and was very good at his job and you had a go at him and think you should have reported him for supporting a rival team? Re: Corporate hospitality - JHL
Is the managers lounge still being ‘managed’ by a Bastards fan? Bumped into him at Manny Rd after one game and was surprised to learn that that the bloke who’d looked after us all day was one of them and hated us. He was very good at his job and got us to Dyche after the game. Nevertheless - had a f...

Why can I only buy 1 ticker for Brighton(h)?
I’ve always managed to buy tickets for my boys and me. Website says NO. 1 ticker per person. Combined with the away ticketing policy this could be a disaster for me. Are they deliberately trying to prevent me from going? Im not a season ticket holder, but go to half a dozen home games - and a large ...

An awful decision. Supporters clubs have been the backbone of away support for donkeys years. This is how to alienate a huge amount of travelling support. That support has played a vital part in so many games. So much for fan engagement. A really disappointing move by the club, and one that will be ...

Some great posts on here. I’m not one for a big debate; but I believe we should remember those men who fought for us, every year, and not not let their memory diminish over time. The longer we reminisce and pass their stories along our families the better. I’d hate their efforts to be gradually forg...

I never thought I’d see us play in Europe. So, aside from more obvious choices, I’m going to say Olympiakos. We had a fantastic time anyway, but imagine what it would have been like had we won.

I get your points folks. I’d have changed things earlier if I were SD. We do need to change things sooner. But we do need to be realistic. There’s no need for arguing. We’ve been done by a better team in the 2nd half.

Left my copy of the dvd on an Accy Clarets coach a few years ago, back in the day when we had a film or two to watch instead of uncivilised music blaring out from the front of the bus,
