Rangers v Frankfurt
Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
Frankfurt had over 30,000 fans inside the Nou Camp for the semi final, was basically a home game.
Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
Manchester was absolutely mobbed with 500k fans.. what did anyone expect. If you’ve ever been to a large music festival and see the carnage left afterwards it’s just what happens which large numbers of ****** up people.
Like all sets of supporters, rangers have the good the bad and the ugly. It’s always the bad which generate the headlines.
Good luck to them be nice to see a British club win the Europa league.

Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
It's been pointed out that the Rangers fans have a recent history of trashing town centres so badly on these occasions that the damage was described as the "worst since the blitz".Silkyskills1 wrote: ↑Tue May 17, 2022 11:38 pmI was in town the following day and it was disgraceful. Am I missing something?
It's undeniable but some posters just want to equivocate on the matter and imply such instances are a normal part of life. They're not.
Let's hope and pray it doesn't happen again but we wish the residents of Seville and their police force the best of luck in dealing with the situation.

The worst since the blitz. What a ludicrous statement. What did the Luftwaffe drop empty cans of Carling and used pizza boxesRowls wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 7:27 amIt's been pointed out that the Rangers fans have a recent history of trashing town centres so badly on these occasions that the damage was described as the "worst since the blitz".

In 1969 Irish terrorists detonated a massive bomb in Manchester centre, at the time it was the largest bomb exploded on mainland Britain since WW2. It caused hundreds of casualties and an estimated 700 million pounds worth of damage. Think that might rank slightly above what the Rangers fans did.

Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
Good post. Fully agree with you about the good bad and ugly. Sadly too many people want to portray them as Rab C Nesbitt types. It will be a tall order for them tonight but it would be great if they can pull it off. Also, I hope the sniper that makes the Frankfurt players hit the deck with annoying regularity forgets his rifle tonight.Shaggy wrote: ↑Wed May 18, 2022 6:23 amManchester was absolutely mobbed with 500k fans.. what did anyone expect. It will also be nice to see an abundance of Union Jack’s on display in and around the stadium.

Seems calm enough so far, but that could quickly change after the match.
Good luck Rangers and especially Scotty, it would be quite a 1st season for GVB if he could lift the EL.

Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
I’d absolutely love it if Scotty Arfield scored a screamer to win the trophy.

That's a disgraceful comment. Listen bud, go and look at yourself in the mirror and do some soul searching. Come back after a couple hours

Looks like the Germans have started this brawl, that said rangers don't need much encouragement to cause trouble.

Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
I was expecting a huge noise from the Rangers fans, they look to easily outnumber the Frankfurt fans, but they’ve been pretty quiet. German fans know how to back their teams.
Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
Franfurts fans are awsome so far.
Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
The ref is really weak - could and should have booked a couple already

Good chance for Gers then.
Re: Rangers v Frankfurt
Should have booked Tavernier for pulling the guys shirt on the break. But if you get your shirt pulled why throw yourself to the ground and act like you've been shot, then get up for the corner 30 seconds later. They shouldn't televise Everton games, it just teaches bad habits.

A half-time haggis & a bottle of Scotch each, Gers will find their voices.
