I hope your Turkey isn't cooked properly because of your impatience and you all get food poisoning.

Ha.

I was looking at getting an Audi A3 in the New Year, but didn't want to turn into a total cock end.

I\ll stick to my shitty little Clio for now.

I'm an Audi driver and i thought i was extremely patient especially when driving how little did I know. Does this generalisation spread to other Car makes or just Audis? Drove a Skoda and a Ford before an Audi just trying to work out if the traits I have that I didn't know about were there before or if it happened when I bought an Audi. Thankfully not having Turkey hot or cold but quite like it cold on a butty.

Not sure it is a stereotype or a well known one anyway, more popular ones are the white van man, bicyclists' or truck drivers and if you are a truck driver all car drivers none of them are particulary true. I will try my hardest to got food poisoning though just a shame it won't be from Turkey.

I like to think I'm a pretty considerate Audi driver....always let people out at junctions or stop to let people cross the road.

Some sad, envious people like the OP clearly have a huge chip on their shoulder!

ps. Audi drivers don't have Turkey for Christmas.

I'm not an Audi driver, but I do wish some people would drive with confidence in what they're doing and get a long a little quicker.

Some drivers seem intent on sucking the joy out of driving by being completely effing useless at it and/or driving as slow as they can whilst meandering along....

If you are adhering to the speed limit (the law of the land) why should your reward be four inter entwined circles in your rear view mirror inches from your bumper?

You want crap drivers then go to Birmingham. they actually stop when traffic lights are changing to amber..No anticpation skills .Worse still drivers in Colne who slam on in heavy traffic to let someone out of their drive.
I prefer the dog eat dog hectic life on the M4. apart from the odd nutter driving an Audi,it's much safer

I drive an Audi A4 and have been a white van driver and agree with super Sid.

I personally have no time for asians, chinese, blacks, women and OAPs they should all be banned from the road and tossed to the the lions.

It shouldn't be, but driving at 15-20 in a 30 zone is a bit moronic.

Same if you're sat in the middle/outside lane on the motorway, or dual carriage way, doing 50mph and then get all upset when you're undertaken......

Not only did I buy an Audi to annoy road users. I also have a personalised number plate... and guess what - it doesn't have the appropriate spacing between the letters and numbers. It's an illegal plate.

The dangerous game is tailgating somebody. If you tailgate, you're a nob - end of chat. All it takes is for a cat/dog/chupacabra to run out and the car infront has to slam their brakes on. What happens to the idiot driving 3 feet behind? If someone is tailgating me, I slow down until their 3 braincells realises what they are doing, is not working.

I'd rather arrive at my destination 5 minutes late than not at all.

There are a few idiots in every brand of car. How on Earth anyone say everybody who drives a xxxxxx are idiots is beyond me.

What is surprising is how few crashes we actually see. Given the number of cars on the road, we should see at least one crash everyday.

Mind you there are some parts of Brierfield & Nelson where the standards of driving are quite scary. People not indicating going on roundabouts or simply pulling straight out of side streets. Did these people really pass a driving test? That strangely includes a few taxi drivers.

Time to admit, I sometimes deliberately do not indicate to adhere to my cars stereotype and I also deliberately allow other road users to join the main road by flashing my lights and letting them in thus disproving the stereotype and confusing other road users who never expected that! UTC

I cant see the point in indicating. If it annoys you, you're not paying attention to the road enough.

From a completely objective analysis of the dangerous tail-gating, lane jumping, prats I encounter driving up Centenary Way each work day
morning, I can confirm Audi drivers stand out as the most arrogant, dangerous, drivers on that particular stretch of road.

I once had to take a colleague to hospital with a very minor work injury. My boss lent me his Audi to transport him. By the time we got to the urgent care unit the patient was sweating uncontrollably, shaking like a leaf in a hurricane, foaming at the mouth and babbling something incoherent that sounded a bit like " let me out of here you crazy bar steward". He also got the bus back. Weird.

Cyclists who believe they are above the law get my goat. Ignore traffic lights, use the pavement to get around queueing traffic then pop right back out to disrupt the traffic flow, ride slowly down roads I am trying to hurry down, no lights at night etc.

Audis are the car of choice for sales reps at the moment and they are the people who give car brands a bad name. Having said that, as a professional driver, you do learn how to read the road that bit further ahead so that you appear to be taking risks which your experience shows is OK.

My motto

Think bike , think d1ck.

Often weave in and out of traffic when traffic is slow, or at a stans still.

And I don't care what you say, they ALL break the speed limits on Sunday drives on the back roads. It's part of the thrill.
