Bangkok bars showing Saturday's game

Post by Claret in the Ninch » Wed Feb 17, 2016 4:43 pm

  • This might be a bit of a long shot, but my uncle and I are both Clarets, and will be in Bangkok together for the Rotherham match on Saturday. I think I've seen Thai Clarets on the old site in the past, so I was hoping someone might be able to suggest a bar in Bangkok that will be showing the match!

I will happily buy the best suggestion a bottle of Chang!

Quicknick - Agree about Chang beer, but it's all fizzy pop compared to Witche's Brew!

Thanks for the suggestion claretdom, I'll have a Google and get back to you if I need a rough location. Bangkok's a big place!

I can drink quite a lot of Leo and feel okayish in the morning. If I do the same amount of Cristal or whatever in Portugal, I feel rougher. I'm a Chiang Rai regular visitor and will be making it my base from June this year. When I visit BBK we'll have to have a beer.

Unfortunately I'm only here for a week, but my uncle lives a few hours north of Bangkok. I'm sure he'd be interested to meet up with another claret

Look up clarets in Thailand on facebook. Run by Alan a die hard claret from Roughlee now living in Chiang Mai which is where I am at the moment for 3 weeks. I am sure Alan will know of a bar showing it. However most games are usually available somewhere if you ask in a Sports Bar.Forgot to say of course enjoy your time in Thailand. I will be living here eventually.

I am moving to Chiang Rai in June (for 8 months a year). I've met Alan on Facebook.

Should meet up sometime Burnley or Thailand. I am pictured I think on tbe Clarets in Thailand Facebook site with my wife and Alan and his wife. We Clarets are certainly everywhere. UTC.
I prefer Singh Beer of the three but has to be taken with ice Thai style.

Every time I go travelling, I run into Clarets. I'll have a look on his FB page as we are FB friends.

Incidentally I find the Singh Beer the best of the three but has too be drunk same as the Thais do with ice.

I like it but prefer Leo. I put ice in all my lager. Here in Portugal, too.
