Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Gone to purchase online, said it was £40 for a ticket. Deleted from basket and tried again, it is now SOLD OUT!!!!!
I'm totally disillusioned with the FAC (not the club's fault I may add) and it won't take much for me to not bother with the replay.

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
The game was probably being set up in the online system and will default initially to the standard league prices. I logged in and found my own seat pre-allocated at £40 but it is now showing at £10 which is correct.
Now, past 11, tickets are on sale.

I'm quite surprised Burnley fans are allowed in the CF stand to be honest, the cost of stewarding it will be higher than other stands and I thought they might try and get Sunderland to sell it out. Away ties seem to have more appeal than home ties in the early round FA Cup.
Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
It will allow me to purchase my seat but can't see how I buy tickets through my Friends and Family for others? Any help?

Peter - Just go back in and quote their clarets number(s) and it will let you order but the system isn't working correctly.Leisure wrote:Can't see that there's a means of ordering more than 1 ticket???
You need to order one at a time.
I have tried to tell the ticket office but the guy didn't understand.

Tony - Cheers but doing it that way I've have to do 20 separate transactions!tybfc wrote:Peter - Just go back in and quote their clarets number(s) and it will let you order but the system isn't working correctly.

Are they sending tickets out for the game or will our cards be activated for it?

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Not working for me.....ordered mine online but then when I try to order the ones for the kids I can pick their Clarets number at checkout but it does not seem to allocate their proper seat, just a random free one?
Am I missing something?

It isn't as simple as just switching the number apparently. I can tell you that David Baldwin is as frustrated as anyone that it is taking so long.titsoutforthelads wrote:Still shows the number to ring as 0871 number.

Just the opposite, Burnley were hoping Sunderland wouldn't push for their full allocation so we could keep our season ticket holders in their preferred stands.

I'd have thought it's as simple as unplugging one port and replacing it with another at the exchange.
BT switched my number in 30 minutes when I moved house last year

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
I'm afraid you thought wrong - there are connections to Ticketzone and their requirements to be considered etc. It is not anything like as simple as switching a domestic phone. I brought it up at a meeting just before Christmas and David Baldwin was chasing it up, as exasperated as anyone else, but it really is not that simple as we've learned. I can assure you it is something he wants done as smoothly and as quickly as possible.Barry_Chuckle wrote:"It isn't as simple as just switching the number apparently"

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Nope. why is it still so difficult to purchase Burnley tickets online. I'd understand if online tickets was a "new thing" but they've had long enough to get it right especially now that we've got season cards in place....
Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
For information, I've contacted the club about the Friends and Famity issue and they've responded -' We’ve been made aware of the issue regarding friends and family this morning from another fan. We have sent this issue to Talent (our Ticket system providers) to come up with a solution. We are aware of the problem as mentioned and we’re on with them today to try and sort a solution for us. At the end of the day that’s why the Friends and Family option is there and it should work for this'.

We really are League Two standard at some things off the pitch aren't we.
Thank goodness for Sean Dyche.

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Really hard to understand the clubs logic with certain decisions. We refuse to take full allocation of tickets for certain away games in case we have to pay for a few hundred unsold, but then open every area of the ground next week when it probably won't even be half full.

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
I thought one of the benefits of having the season card was that games would be added to it?
Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
I know a bit late now but will David Baldwin reimburse me for the £60 in calls it cost me getting play offwe tickets in 2009 ringing the premium line number. Rather than being engaged it went to brief message telling me they were busy and to ring back on the number I had just rung. Might as well have got an engaged tone. Cost me something like 20p every time. I Had no option but to keep ringing.

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Genuine question, why would people rather use the ticket hotline rather than the website?

I had forgotten how long it has been in use. Would be interesting to see how much they made on it at the time and since.

I don't know about the ticket hotline, but I've just spent 10 minutes working out how to order my reserved seat plus my pals for the replay and I've given up, so will have to call into the office tomorrow.Rileybobs wrote:Genuine question, why would people rather use the ticket hotline rather than the website?
Online Ticket purchase - Sunderland replay
Any experts on the user-unfriendly site which sells our tickets?
I'm a S/T holder and was just going in to purchase my own seat and get my Dad's for him on friends and family for the Sunderland replay. I think on reflection mine had been pre-populated in my basket without me having to do anything, but it wasn't clear how to add my Dad's ticket.
After messing about not knowing what I was doing I've ended up with an empty basket and no apparent way to even retrieve my own ticket as the site only leads me to the non S/T ones on general sale.
Anyone know if I can get round this and get mine and my Dad's S/T seats back in to the basket, or is it just a case that I'm going to have to ring the ticket office tomorrow and do a phone purchase? I presume I can also order Friends and Family tickets over the phone?

I've had the same problem so messaged the club on twitter... they are going to look into it tomorrow...
Hopefully they'll get it sorted some point in the morning otherwise it will be 30 mins on the phone waiting

Andy - it doesn't work and I flagged it up to the ticket office at 9.30am today.dushanbe wrote:I don't know about the ticket hotline, but I've just spent 10 minutes working out how to order my reserved seat plus my pals for the replay and I've given up, so will have to call into the office tomorrow.
You need to go into each clarets number separately which is a pain when you are ordering a few but they haven't fixed it all day.
Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Given the club can internally transfer you to the ticket hotline without you being charged they could probably run a non-charging line in parallel, although they may have to bear the cost.
I imagine Ticketzone are sharing in the revenue from that premium line and a major issue is negotiating a new deal with them given a loss of revenue in that area.

Help required! I've purchased my ticket but how can I now purchase for others who are linked through my Friends and Family?

Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
You can't. The club have already confirmed there is a problem that is now in the hands of the company who run the ticketing system. The club have apologised for it but it is the third party who have to deal with it.Leisure wrote:Help required! Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
Its a mess. Rang for two seats (season tickets holders) for some reason they have a problem. After waiting some time they then ask me to ring option 2 and explain the problem to them. I have to listen to the sales pitch of the Holiday Inn over and over, after 7 minutes I was still at number 4 (same number when I first rang) in the queue. I tried logging in to the on line sales but it keeps coming up with the whole stadium seating plan and thus not allowing me to order my specific seats. I have emailed them to ring me so just waiting.

You can order your own seat online - you just can't order for others because of the problem which the club have acknowledged.beddie wrote:Its a mess. Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
I can't even order my own online. As someone else pointed out on another thread, the ticket was pre-populated in my basket but in messing about trying to add my mates seat too, I managed to remove it and now can't put it back in the basket.
Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
CT. The problem is that my seat number has been locked and apparently its locked under my sons name, his seat number (next to mine) is also locked in his name. They don't know how its happened and are unable to sort it. Its not allowing me to order on line either. I can only think the answer is to get my wife to drive over with our season tickets books and hope they can issue us with the seats that way.
Re: Burnley v Sunderland – Cup Ticket Information
If the Cricket Field Stand was closed to Burnley fans, and the rest of the ground half full, we'd have a very quiet ground indeed IMO.jrgbfc wrote:Really hard to understand the clubs logic with certain decisions.
