It says a lot that the people who were denying that he's a racist have given up. They'll still vote for him though, because they are racists too.

At least his racism isn't as bad as the several Obama scandals that plagued his administration

Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
The guy's a ******* moron.
Lindsey Graham retracted his lips from Trump's feet for a minute and criticised him for his racist attack on the congresswomen and said that Trump should "aim higher", meaning try to aim for the high ground, or just try to be better. But Trump didn't understand this and thought Lindsey Graham was saying that Trump should aim his racism at Senators, not Congressmen and women.

Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
The president of the United States has just said that US congresspeople, who are citizens, should leave if they don't like it there. He's also just claimed that he's heard them speaking about "how wonderful al-queda is" and that they hate the United States.
This ******* guy. He's clearly trying to rile up his supporters into murdering these people, and if it happens he'll claim that he had nothing to do with it.
This is stochastic terrorism.

Even the Republicans must have their heads in their hands over this, the guys totally flipped.
And then he claims that democratically elected congresswoman of colour hate their country,i can only see one person spreading hate here.
You do wonder if he's trying to inflame racial tensions to justify a law and order crackdown on BAME communities, nothing would surprise you with this president now.

Can someone please explain to me why it's OK for Trump to come out with these sort of racist comments on a regular basis, yet if someone likens him to a Nazi then that's a big no no?

Because a lot of people agree with him. But they also know that being a Nazi isn't a good thing to be. But instead of changing their beliefs to be no like Nazis they instead just deny that the beliefs are Nazi-like.Spijed wrote:Can someone please explain to me why it's OK for Trump to come out with these sort of racist comments on a regular basis, yet if someone likens him to a Nazi then that's a big no no?
They're also pretty ignorant and think that the only people who were Nazis were those who were shoving Jews into gas chambers. They don't think that the ordinary citizen who supported the Nazis, either with their silence or with their votes, were Nazis.
There's an awful lot of denial going on in their minds.
Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
Well: But Republican Congressman Andy Harris defended Mr Trump, telling WBAL radio: "Clearly it's not a racist comment. He could have meant go back to the district they came from, the neighbourhood they came from."tiger76 wrote:Even the Republicans must have their heads in their hands over this, the guys totally flipped.

That's a desperate, and easily debunkable, defence.
He clearly said "countries".
Edit: Unless Harris is saying that Trump is saying his own government is "a complete and total catastrophe, the worst, most corrupt and inept anywhere in the world". Which would be true, but i doubt he thinks Trump's saying that.

Watch closely, because we're on the same path.

I think those people need to hurry up and raid Area 51 to get you off their internet connection.
Anyway, when asked a question about Trump's racist tweets, one of Trump's mouthpieces thought it appropriate to respond with "what's your ethnicity" instead of answering the reporter's question.

Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
A question for IT (or anyone else who wants to chip in).
Given that, due to the composition of the houses, it's very unlikely that Trump would actually be impeached do you still want impeachment proceedings to start?
Do you think things being brought out into the public eye will offset the damage of Trump claiming that he's fully exonerated if the proceedings fail?

Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
Absolutely. There's no way he'll be thrown out of office, no matter how serious his crimes, but he'd definitely be impeached. Democrats have enough votes for that on their own. He won't be convicted, because the Republicans would never leak enough senate votes to allow that, no matter what his crimes are. But the process means the public gets to find out all the crimes he's committed, to the extent that they can be uncovered.aggi wrote:A question for IT (or anyone else who wants to chip in).

But more importantly, if the Democrats refuse to even impeach Trump then what exactly will they ever impeach a president over?
Get him under oath and on tape and force him to testify like only congress can.
But the Democrats are either absolute pussies, or they're playing politics with this because they would rather have Trump as their electoral opponent and not any other Republican. It has been clear since he openly and freely admitted obstruction of justice in an interview two years ago that there is grounds for impeachment. Robert Mueller built the case for them and said that it is congress's job to follow through from his report. At this point they are allowing him to get away with everything.

Turtle and his loyal band of merry Marxists do not care for things like evidence, they much rather use hysterical accusations and cry and scream that you are a 1940's super villain than actually admit that normal people think they talk a load of BS. It's not their fault for the most part, they are just highly emotive people, they cannot separate morality from politics, they think that anyone who doesn't think like them is simply evil, and therefore any means of stopping them, be that lies, or whatever is totally justified.LongsideFacingUp wrote:Pathetic this Turtle.

Moffitt, are there are any Marxists posting here? I don't think you know what Marxism is, do you? I have never seen a post on this board that was Marxist, so why would you make that claim? I also think, and hope, that 'normal people' find racism abhorrent, and Trump's tweets have a stink of racism about them so it's no surprise that the normal people are rather troubled by the man's remarks.
