He never fails to bite! I'll be back in 2019 when the embarrassment known as the Mueller enquiry turns up with nothing on Russia/Trump conspiracy. Perhaps at that point you might want to apologise to everyone on the Claretsmad board for boring us to death with your interminable posts. It couldn't describe one poster though could it?

If they were normal people, and read each post and weighed the facts? Probably either Smudge or Uwe.ClaretMoffitt wrote:If one was to look at this thread and its entirety of content, then was asked to use the word desperate to describe one poster, who do you think they would say?
If they were you then obviously me because you're not really interested in politicians being owned by foreign countries if you broadly like their politics. Because it really isn't about the facts with you people, it's about smearing people whose politics you don't like with terms like "obsessed" and "hysterical" etc. Even as everyone and everything Trump touched becomes corrupted, you'll still think that people like me are the problem.

In Sheldon Adelson, Far Right Israel Hits the Jackpot
But..."A bet on Donald Trump for president may have seemed risky two years ago. But for billionaire casino magnate Sheldon Adelson, the payout has been spectacular.
The 85-year-old and his wife Miriam gave $82 million to Republicans and candidate Trump in 2016, and within two years watched their man execute two major Adelson asks: moving the U.S. embassy in Israel to Jerusalem, and withdrawing from the Iran nuclear deal.......
This was accomplished in consultation with Adelson comprador John Bolton, who in December 2016 promised members of the American Friends of Beit El that Trump would not only move the embassy—declaring Jerusalem the true capital of Israel—but that he would not oppose any Jewish settlement expansion in the West Bank territories. Adelson is also credited with opening the door for Bolton’s appointment to national security adviser in March.
Meanwhile, Adelson has enjoyed a direct line to Trump, speaking with him in person and on the phone at least once a month. Most recently Adelson was able to convince the president to cut off U.S. aid to Palestinian refugees living in crowded, dirty, and unrelentingly hopeless refugee camps outside Israel. Around the same time, Trump withdrew $25 million in assistance from impoverished East Jerusalem hospitals that also serve Palestinian cancer patients allowed in from the West Bank and Gaza for treatment....."

Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
The idea that you cite BuzzFeed as even remotely credible shows how desparate your argument is. Their latest fake news (claiming Trump instructed Cohen to lie to Congress) was publically refuted by Mueller and they still won't acknowledge it! You also conveniently overlook the fact that the "reliable" MI5 agent was sacked by the FBI. Never mind, when the Mueller report comes out soon exonerating Trump you can join Turtle in writing your apologies for boring us all to death for two years.Test User wrote:They didn't write it. I'm no lover of Trump but I wouldn't bet too much money on him not winning a second term. It would be interesting to hear some U.S. based opinion because there seems a lot more excitement about Trump's problems over here than at home. It is them that vote.

If he's allowed to use the term "national emergency" to build a wall no one needs (and which his donors will get the contracts for) then you might as well kiss goodbye to accountability in the US.
Dunno if any of you have seen that clip in which @AOC completely highlights just how unaccountable US Presidents are already, but if you haven't, its well worth a look.

It certainly helped him to have a Republican congress refusing to do any kind of oversight. Even I was surprised at how much they abdicated their responsibilities, and I had an extremely low opinion of them to start with.

Re: Trump/Russia Dossier
Trump's long-time "fixer" and convicted felon is testifying to congress tomorrow and he's expected to provide documentary evidence to show that Trump has committed crimes while in office.
What he says should be taken with a pinch of salt since he has been convicted of lying to congress already, but he does have no motive to lie any more as previously he was lying on behalf of Trump, and with corroboration then it must be taken seriously by all but the most sycophantic of Trump supporters. We know who they are on here. I'm sure they'll make an appearance soon enough.
Wednesday is going to be an interesting news day. I'll link a stream when it becomes available at around 3pm GMT.

It's got to be spectacular if some congressmen are okay with making these kind of threats so publicly.
Can you imagine the kind of threats he's facing in private if this is the kind of threat that's made publicly?

Mark Meadows is grandstanding over Cohen's written testimony being provided within 24 hours of the testimony when they're supposed to have it 24 hours before the testimony.
He must be really worried about what Cohen's about to say if he's trying to prevent it so obviously.

I know you guys don't care, unless of course they are lying about something you care about.
