Brady didn't even play left back last night....

If the money is right and the deal is structured to the satisfaction of Norwich then I don't think it would matter if they hadn't signed a left back or not.

They already have Matt Jarvis, Pritchard, Canos, Murphy brothers and Hoolahan that can play on the wing. None of them can play left back. Last night Russell Martin played there.

There are no key points. Just that we've been linked.

We are after Brady
so are others
he might come
he might not come
he can play left back
he isn't a left back
does Kightly like Delia recipes and can we throw him in the deal

I know he's not a left back but he has often played there for Norwich. They have sold Olsson and need a replacement.

wasn't aimed at you pearcey, it was just a generic "who's says he's a left back" - he isn't

Having taken a quick check on Oddschecker Burnley now odds-on favourite with all 3 bookmakers quoting on this market to land Brady.

Doesn't always mean a lot I know but at least the markets speak in our favour. ;)

I'm trying to work out how Norwich can take their time with it but according to the manager they need the money for incoming players. Do they realise they have less than two weeks left.

Actual quotes from Ward?

I think we will get him we just need to agree to a fee.

Are Norwich desperate to sell as it looks like their season has stalled somewhat?

Perhaps we are hoping to get him cheaper, the nearer we reach deadline day.

Norwich need to sell.

We have made a bid.

Multiple other clubs, a growing list, have reputedly made bids... None substantiated however.

Maybe Norwich are just making them up to put up the price?

Sky reporting Norwich have had a 4.3M bid accepted for Sporting Lisbon left back so maybe a domino effect will happen now

I'm getting to the point that I couldn't care less who we signed. So much contradictory shite posted in the papers and on the net I honestly haven't a clue who or if we will get anyone at all. Can't wait for the window to close so we can get back to playing football and see if we survive this season.

further up the thread it seems Brady used at times as left back/wing back and with Olsen going Swansea leaves them short....Although I see him as a left sided midfielder!

Various people know various people in various sources. I'm not saying the 'TFS Norwich' tweet is the proof of a transfer, I'm only using it as a means of highlighting what is very close to happening.

FL92 literally makes everything up as they go along, so don't believe a word they say.

For me this O'Connor fella seems the one to believe - says we're in pole position still

Brady signing may turn out to be a bit of a damp squid by the time it happens.
It's a game, isn't it?
