Would not be surprised at all if Boro salary costs were double Burnleys.

I don`t know who spent most in the summer - most fees are undisclosed these days. However, I do know that Boro have thrown a hell of a lot more money than Burnley at trying to reach the Premier League and then trying to stay in the Premier League.

We actually had a net spend less than Burnley in the Summer so I don't know how you work that out? He has said he wants to improve the team and squad which he has done every transfer window. Its called improving. He arrived and we were going down, almost bottom in Nov, finished mid table. Next season the play off final, Season after promotion. Hopefully stay up this year.

It's also in today's Daily Telegraph that we've bid 7.5M for him. He's a sort of Dean Marney type of player, who we also got from Hull. Maybe Boyd as well, might put a good word in for Burnley who are also near to Scotland, so that might be a bonus in our favour. Certainly having a great season with Hull, but would it be worth their risk to part with their best player?
