Gray deserves better service
Very hard for him to get on those long balls

Defour not had a particularly happy time on the left. Doesn't look very comfortable.

Gray needs to score cos the rest of his play today is awful. His touch and control when we have got the ball to him has been shocking. TBF Barnes not much better

Defour`s influence on the game is being limited as he seems penned in and out of position on the left of midfield.

HT. I'd be happy enough with a draw today, would be delighted with a win.

We've struggled at times with Defour not particularly standing out. Hope Dyche can changes things up a little. We do have some options.

Agree Defour needs to be in the middle. Hendrick been good but id swap with Defour and try and get Hendrick linking up midfield and attack

As things stand we're 12th and 9 points clear of Sunderland in 18th.

I'd take that, so hope we can at least grab a point.

Hendrick has been very good, Boyd and Defour need to do an awful lot better. The lack of depth in our wingers is very evident today.

I'm happy enough being level at the half.

If it finished this way, while not being a very exciting match to watch, I'd be very happy to take a point. Just keep the points ticking over...

Probably the first game of his life as a left winger. SD must have picked him just to keep him happy?

We haven't actually drawn many matches this season. Drawing too many was our problem last time around (and not converting enough into wins). A draw would be a bit of a treat in that respect :D

I DO understand your sentiment but we need, in my opinion, someone on the line to stretch Southampton. Our compactness is stifling us, NOT Southampton. Kightly for me if nowt changes in 2o minutes and go 4-4-1-1

Poor so far. Saints winning the aerial battle. Fancy Gray against the Japanese guy if we can give him some service. A point today will be a good result. Get Joey on for defour and play Boyd on left.

Boyd needs to get on the left again. We need to hang in there and hope to nick a goal for a one-nil win.

When we played down there there was a stone wall penalty not given to us when it was 0-0 and then one of theirs dived and a pen was awarded, we are owed a result today

COME ON SUPER BURNLEY
