Man U doing a "Burnley"

Post by gricey44 » Sun Jan 15, 2017 6:56 pm

Just been listening to Talk Sport to take my mind off a bit of washing up ( ok I know, but the wife had made us a lovely meal) and the Press Club were on. Apparently Klopp has been complaining about Mourino playing long ball tactics against the Scousers. The journos were saying there was nothing wrong with playing direct football.
Maybe people are now accepting Burnley are playing a good game and Dyche will get more praise for his tactics which, no doubt, Mourinho is now taking notice of.

Utd certainly aren't a long ball side, they were lumping it when Fellaini came on more though. To say Mourinho is taking notice of Dyches tactics is delusional.

It should always be The Stone Roses, when doing the washing up.

United have more than one way to play, like us. It's not 2008, possession is just for stattos now.

Honestly, the way some managers and fans go on you'd think 'controlling' and 'dominating' the play is hugely more important than winning matches.

I couldn't agree more. I know Dyche likes to mix it up if he can and if he gets a bit more quality in I'm sure we will see more entertaining football. But in the meantime who the hell cares as long as we can get the results we need

The more KRBFC posts on here the more I think he suffers from Asperger's Syndrome.
