If you could choose which 3 to go down

Post by Longsider » Sun Jan 15, 2017 7:27 pm

From teams below us who would you prefer to get relegated. For me :
1. Palace. Would like to see Big Fat Scam fail and also think they are a side who will be tough to get points from next year if he keeps them up
2. Southampton. Again think they will be hard to beat next year.
3. Middlesbrough. Because you know everyone of their fans is hoping we go down.

At the end of the day as long as we are not in the bottom three I don't really care .

Hull, because it is a dump and non footballing area historically , horrendous board who are out of touch.
Palace. Big fat sam is a decent manager, but this firefighting style appointment is stupid. I have never liked their spivvy owners too.
Swansea. wrong country to be plying their trade, should stick to rugby or exhibiting leeks. idiots for sacking monk, deserve all they get.

Not bothered really but if pressed I'd say Sunderland. They've been riding their luck for far too long!

Would be funny to see WHU go down after all the pantomime with the new stadium. (But don't think they will)

Any off them except Hull, S'land, Swansea or Boro. We'll finish above them next year as well.

Palace,
Boro,
Swansea.

I hate Fat Sam, would love to spend the summer reading Boro's FMTTM Messageboard after they got relegated, and have always maintained that Swansea should not be in the English Top Flight.

West Ham, Leicester and Middlesbrough - all have fans who are overly 'entitled'.

If its Leicester and Boro I'll do a hernia by laughing so much. along with anyone but us, not bothered who else.

I'll think it'll be 3 from Hull, Swans, Mackens and the Smoggys

As someone said above, not Hull, Swansea or Sunderland and also not Watford or Boro or Bournemouth as we need to be able to play them all next season in the PL. So of the partly realistic other candidates this year:- West Ham because they have been gifted a ground, Leicester because it would be so funny and Palace for appointing someone who appears to have been on the make.

Leicester - for the fact the champions would go down :) (no other axe to grind, quite like Leicester and how they achieved last season)
Palace - BFS, no other explanation needed
West Ham - I want to see them fill the stadium with Championship football (well, I part paid for their stadium, so I should get a say in it)

If Leicester went down they'd be the worst defending champions since 1992, instead of Rovers.

I know it's a long time ago, but the 1930s saw both Manchester Teams get relegated as reigning Champions.

Since 1990, the Champions that stand out as being poor the next season are Leeds, R*vers, and Chelsea(last year).

Tempting because you could have reasons for hoping most of the teams below us go down, so I'll happily settle for us not being one of them.

When Ipswich robbed us in 62 they were 17th the next season followed by relegation.

I'm not fussy as I just want us to stay up but if we can choose it has to be the 3 best teams so we have a better chance of survival next year as well.

Hull, Swansea, and Burnley. We're never going to win the premier league so we should be looking to win the Championship every couple of years. If we can turn down promotion when we do win it then we should take up that option.
