Looks like he is going to Preston.

Is this their Ian Wright moment?

Good luck to him

Think he'd do a good job for them at that level. As I've said before, wouldn't be against us signing him short term as a backup option.

He'd certainly get the locals excited. He's an excellent footballer and also less likely to get sent off than another striker they have on their books!

If he is willing to play for PNE would he be worth bringing in as 4th striker here?

Unlikely to get many minutes but I wouldn't be averse to seeing him for 15 mins when Gray is either tired or being saved for the next match.

He has played with Ward and Hendrick (and Brady) so would probably slot it ok...2

A good move for Robbie if it comes off, he still has the hunger and will get more game time at preston, really not sure how much he would play with us. There's also a strong Irish contingent at Preston, Cunningham and the two new lads from Dundalk Boyle and Daryl Horgan.
Ps keep an eye on Horgan, seems to have made a big impression, could be a contender in a couple of years

Even at 36 i would have him here. Knows where the goal is. Has done well in america which whilst it isnt the best league in the world not everyone has. Shows he still has the desire if nothing else.

As an option for us and to bring on our youngsters we could do a lot worse. Beats some of the options weve had on the bench at this level before. In fact Roy Keane now would be better than some of the players weve had at this level.

Nimani, Sordell, Reid, Eckersley, Edgar and Easton...

Stop... just stop. Nightmares. Cort, Juke, even Carlisle at this level. Nowhere near good enough.

Feel our squad is much deeper this time round. Hardly any deadwood. Possibly Kights but even he did a job against Everton
