10,000 pints a minute!
10,000 pints a minute!
Yep, 10,000 pints a minute served from a bar the length of a football pitch and brewed onsite by an in-house micro brewery. What is it? It's Spurs' new stadium:

It's probably capable of that, but lets be honest, it's going to be the staff that will struggle to serve that fast.
City are looking at doing that glass tunnel thing too.

... It's going to be the crowd who are struggling to drink that fast!

Will be like Wembeley where the machine pulled about 50 pints at a time and it tasted like pish!Pstotto wrote:... It's going to be the crowd who are struggling to drink that fast!

Whats also crazy is how it has gone from £320 mil - to £450 mil .... To now £750 mil expected costs.
No doubt they'll recoup quite a bit with the proposed ground share with the new London based NFL franchise which has been proposed. Also whichever supermarket they stick into the stadium (apparently theyre building in a full supermarkey) will be paying a decent whack of rent for the priviledge.

Probably a good sales pitch but who is going to carry them to the customers and process the payment? Perhaps they will have German serving wenches supported by Octopuses

I think it's mandatory now to include a 50% slush fund to be shared amongst a number of unnamed benefactors.
How many times do you read about a project that has tripled in cost since the contract was awarded. You never seem to hear about something completed on time and under budget!

With this they seem to keep on adding things onto the design which is running it up further. Oh, lets add a brewery, oh lets have this glass tunnel, oh lets have a pitch that can float out and hide under a stand etc...JohnMac wrote:I think it's mandatory now to include a 50% slush fund to be shared amongst a number of unnamed benefactors.

By adding things that will make them money is business sense.

Nowhere near as good an idea as StadiArena.

If anybody served me with a glass of beer like that, with their hands all over
the rim, they would be asked to take it back and to hand me one in the proper manner.
Dirty, dirty buggers.
