RIP Gorden Kaye (Allo! Allo!)

Post by FactualFrank » Mon Jan 23, 2017 5:08 pm

Perhaps it should be 'Goodbye, Goodbye'.

For those of us old enough that used to watch Allo! Allo! Gorden Kaye has died, aged 75.

He did really well to get over having that fence post stuck in his head.

RIP.

One of the best comedy series around, one I would take with me to a desert island. Played off the basic stereotypical characteristics of the French, German and English to a tee. Kaye's accent and timing were great, RIP Renay!

I remember seeing Gordon Kaye opening the Barnoldswick Summer Gala, it weren't long after his serious incident. I think it was 1990/1991.

RIP
