Ecclestone no longer owns F1

Post by superdimitri » Tue Jan 24, 2017 5:45 am

With the mad hatter removed is F1 going to get better? I personally think so. I bet Ferrari are worried now. Hopefully we start to see money more evenly shared between teams.

Hard to tell really.
I used to watch as many races as I could, but with the engine changes it just didn't 'sound' or feel the same.

I know a few people who've switched off from F1 now, but as to what would draw us back it's hard to know.

Feel really sorry for him losing his job like that. Let's have a collection.

No sympathy for him. He sold the rights to F1 for 6.4 billion and now he's whinging because he's been edged out by the company he sold it to

I used to get up in the middle of the night to watch races. That was back in the Hill, Schumacher days. Totally lost interest and Ecclestone was one of the reasons why. But also Murray Walker retiring and TV rights just killed my love of motor racing.
