Absolute joke! He is pants. BF'S is once again getting rinsed in a transfer windows. They're paying more for him than we are for Brady????
That is funny!

It seems once a player is held up as someone special it takes some time for the football world to see through the hype. Its often a couple of big money moves before someone decides "he's pants" then suddenly the swell turns and no-one rates him, leaving a club with a player who has stung them fro a fortune with little re-sale value. Some players get entire careers from "reputation" with very little real substance to back it up.

Edit for typo

And some people take an age to see the skills of players, Ings And Mee were often derided on here, and managers often don't see the best positions for their players or the sides best formation, funny game.

Unreal price.

Surely only a matter of time before we get Brady then?

To be fair going forwards and on the ball he looked very assured. Decent left peg. But is not sign him as a left back.

Then again id not have signed alonso and look at him at chelsea now.

Very good going forward & he caught my eye.

If we're paying £10m for Hendrick & £13m for Brady, I think £14m for Van Aanholt is probably about right.

Mee possibly when he was at LB, but that's more a Burnley thing about disliking LB's more then the player themselves.

As for Ings, you're a little wide of the mark there I think.

As for taking an age to see the skills of players, you stated the other day it takes 20mins to see it.....

Strange signing after getting Schlupp from Leicester. Out and out defenders are needed at Palace, going forward they were fine.

Don't think Ings is the best example but Vokes was derided to the heaven's for quite some time. He's still not rated by everyone, but I think he's the best target man we've had since King Billy.

Didn't a prominent poster say Ings wouldn't get any better because he didn't lift his head?
A promotion and player of the year award later..

Pretty sure he has the most assists and goals for a defender since 2014.

Not a bad stat. But defensively he is shocking. I imagine he will play as a wing back for palace so could work out well

Brady has already told Sunderland he has no interest in joining. Sunderland are also on the verge of signing Bordeaux left back Contento on Loan.

Reading this and brought back the first time I saw Trevor Sinclair playing for (I think) Blackpool Reserves against our mob on the Turf (late 80s/early 90s?) and thinking `bloody hell! He`s going to be one HELL of a player!!!!` He didn`t do badly at all!

Sunderland wouldn't be signing Brady as left back but rather as a supplier to Defoe. Brady has no interest in joining Sunderland no but they may up a bid to above ours and so we are put in between a rock and a hard place if Norwich publicise that fact. Oh and Brady might get more wages than we can offer and that might put our offer in jeopardy.
