Sebastian geovinco
According to transfer rumours we've had a bid accepted. I know it's a crap site, but it just seems a bit random for there to be nothing in it.

On a basic wage of $140,000 a week in the MLS, and has been approached by a Chinese club in the last few days.
No chance.

He'd be our shortest player since Brian Flynn
Re: Sebastian geovinco
I don't know when the MLS starts but he'd be a great loan signing.

Re: Sebastian geovinco
MLS are in training camp already. Big story in today's Toronto Star about Chinese interest. Would be a huge blow to Toronto FC. Itg would be a "Bloody Big Deal". Right Jermaine Dafoe?

I've never heard of him, but I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that he's bloody rubbish.

Re: Sebastian geovinco
Don't say that until you see some of the goals he scored for Toronto this year, BoT. He's a natural-born goal scorer, through and through. Another MLS player that Burnley scouts should be looking at is de Jong, left back for Vancouver. He and Scotty linked up quite naturally while playing for Canada this year.

You've been on here long enough to know how the transfer window linkage game works Ontario.

Re: Sebastian geovinco
Yes, I know it's all driven by the agents. I'm just saying, I've seen many of his "highlight" goals this year, and he's been outstanding. He was up for MLS player of the year.
Re: Sebastian geovinco
How have you never heard of Giovinco? spent like 10 years at Juventus and over 20 caps for Italy.Bin Ont Turf wrote:I've never heard of him, but I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that he's bloody rubbish.
Re: Sebastian geovinco
He's absolutley rapid, but based on the interesting spelling I'd say please don't sign him :

Re: Sebastian geovinco
I didn't realise that there was a two for one offer on here tonight.
If I had have realised I would have pushed the boat out a bit more in my opening gambit.

Re: Sebastian geovinco
Not for a minute do I think we would get him but he is the nearest thing to Robbie Blake we could get!
Skill and x factor... would take us to a different level... but fairly sure it wont happen. More interesting for me than Grosicki,

Re: Sebastian geovinco
Weed need better than Robbie Blake now Andy. We need Robbie Blake with pace!!!
Re: Sebastian geovinco
He has more pace than Robbie... Hell I have more pace than Robbie... I was thinking more about the sort of player he is.
Great set pieces and a bit of a magician. Not really a tracking back sort of player. Doesn't matter he won't even know where Burnley is.

To be fair I'm sure I wasn't the only one who hadn't heard of Defour until we showed an interest in him!Bin Ont Turf wrote:I've never heard of him, but I'm going to err on the side of caution and say that he's bloody rubbish.
Re: Sebastian geovinco
You only have to look at his reported salary to know this would never happen in a million years.

Re: Sebastian geovinco
Would be amazing if we signed him but we have zero chance. He was only saying yesterday in an interview how he was going to sit down with Toronto about the possibility of him going China. Turned down Barca last year.
