If he's not the best player at that level it's baffling that he's at our club.

Re: George Green debut
Saw last week but forgot to post that he is now without a club and training with Ossett Albion. He may never have made it with us but I don't think any of us ever thought he would. It was more a show of Sean Dyches character that he thought he could help a young troubled man put his life back on track. What little he posts on twitter he does seem happy now and more than happy to admit his struggles with depression. Think the birth of a baby girl has helped him have a positive outlook on things

Can't argue with that and frankly if we can't use a bit of the money in football to help rehabilitate troubled products of youth systems then its time to give up. Good luck to the ladCleveleys_claret wrote:Saw last week but forgot to post that he is now without a club and training with Ossett Albion. Re: George Green debut
I was at that very match last season (the same day we played Bristol City in the FA Cup) and he was indeed outstanding that afternoon. I've just told my FCUM supporting mate to alert their board to his availability..............
One would assume Salford City would be in for him however, if he had performed like that throughout the remainder of their season which tailed off a bit and ultimately resulted in them losing in the play-off semi-finals to AFC Halifax Town who eventually went up.
