Unhappy Karanka
Just read this:
Aitor Karanka has taken a swipe at Middlesbrough, saying they have failed to land the transfer targets he identified to the board six weeks ago. Karanka, who was almost monosyllabic at times during his lunchtime news conference, was asked by Sky Sports News HQ if he expected want-away winger Gaston Ramirez to be here beyond the transfer deadline and replied: "I don't care".

Video of interview makes for very awkward viewing. Looks like he's thrown his toys out the pram... not for the first time!

Unbelievable. As if you can address the world media with a spoilt child retort of "I don't care. "

He is an absolute shitlord.
I would absolutely love to see him take them down (if he doesn't jump ship first of course).

He won't see the season out. They have spent an awful lot of money to play sideways football.
Re: Unhappy Karanka
lol, what a baby, you can tell he's a Mourinho protégé.
He and Bamford seem well suited to each other.

I hope he remains at the club for as long as possible. If they got a half decent manager in, I think they'd stay up.
Re: Unhappy Karanka
What an odious turd of a man he is.
He makes Nigel Pearson look sociable in comparison.

I can't follow what most managers in the Premier League say. I don't understand how they deliver a team talk. It's all 'important moments " this and "situation " that
Re: Unhappy Karanka
Where did he say ''I don't care''? I just watched the link posted and it didn't mention Ramirez.

Re: Unhappy Karanka
So I just watched the interview. Firstly no issue with his first two answers, then secondly, I think his answer regarding Rhodes is misunderstood. His basic point is he's focused on the game, and the mechanics of the ins and outs are someone else's concern.
Nothing to see here......

Re: Unhappy Karanka
I think Tony is on about a different interview because the one linked in post 3 doesn't mention Ramirez, it's Rhodes.NRC wrote:So I just watched the interview. You're right though, he definitely doesn't say ''I don't care'' he says ''I don't know and I don't want to know'' a misunderstanding.
Re: Unhappy Karanka
Apart from blatantly slagging your pay masters off for not signing the players he wanted. It's not like they didn't back him in the summer.NRC wrote:

Re: Unhappy Karanka
So his transfers from the summer haven't worked out?
Not really surprised, plenty of us predicted that he'd got it wrong.
Now hes complaining that the club haven't got the deals done that he requested?
Welcome to the real world sunshine, where it isn't always about wages, but when it is you'll lose out.

Re: Unhappy Karanka
Where have all the Boro/Karanka lovers gone from the summer window. I see some of them still post but seem to be keeping quiet about our transfer dealings compared to Boro's transfer dealings.

Re: Unhappy Karanka
Karanka basically wants Boro to spunk a load of cash on players and then pay them 100K+ a week, not a clue how to cut his cloth accordingly and is becoming more and more like Moanrinhio. I wouldn't swap our manager for any of them

Gibson always seems a good guy on an Interview and is obviously a good business man, why the hell does he keep employing this man.

agreed, this lot are shocking. Sean Dyche by comparison is a football saint, rarely complains, if he is unhappy, he expresses his opinion with tact and diplomacy.randomclaret2 wrote:Wenger/Karanka/Guardiola/Mourinho all puerile
Football is better off for the likes of our manager, what a scummy collective the others are. Detestable individuals with no class.

Re: Unhappy Karanka
Makes you realise just how professional and considered Dyche is given some of the frustrations he's had at Burnley with transfers. Very rarely did he publicly show it, and got on with his job. Brilliantly.
There would have been a good few managers who would've jumped ship and thrown their toys, and since then he's starting to see the rewards.

Just think what the table would look like if these 'Premier' teams turned up every match instead of just in their cup final against Middlesbrough

Re: Unhappy Karanka
I thought his comment last season was really odd. Something along the lines of "if I'd had Burnleys team they'd be promoted by Christmas "
In his crazy brain I think he was trying to say he was a better manager than Dyche. But what effect would that have on his players? He speaks before he thinks, that's his main problem.
