I reckon 9 more points should see us safe. 3 against Watford, 1 against Chelski, 0 against Hull, 1 against Swansea, 0 against Liverpool, 3 against Sunderland and a point against Spurs.

April fools day will see us safe!

don't be daft we are Burnley

We'll beat Chelsea, Liverpoo, Man Utd and Spurs and lose at Hull, Swansea, Sunderland and Boro lol

This will also do nicely. I'm not fussy.

Until we are mathematically safe, yes we are.

Will we get relegated?
I don't think so now.

Still some hard work to do, but I think we will be OK. Hull, Swansea and Palace are all picking up but if I were a Boro, Leicester or Bournemouth fan I would be seriously worried. Those teams have lost momentum. Boro don't score goals and their manager is throwing his mid-season sulk, Leicester don't seem up for the fight and Eddie looks like he has regained his anti-talent for organising defences. We have points in the bag and we are growing in confidence. Our style is also changing, which means second time around we will pose a different set of challenges for opposing teams.

As someone else said it's likely (probable) the home form will drop off but the away form will improve. I think we will get to 38 points which should be enough.

Provided the defence remains as a unit we will be fine and Barton gives us belief in midfield so I expect a more forthright style of play, add to this the form and attitude of Gray and we may end the season on a high and certainly in the top 10 which I felt was always within our compass.

As I stated on the other thread, I feel we're still quite a distance from being safe. Given our away results this season, it's perfectly realistic that we don't win an away game at all this season, especially if the FA go daft and hand Barton a 3+ game ban.

On the plus side, Hull have Liverpool(h) and Arsenal(a) in their next 2 games, before they face us. So in 3 games time, things could look very different.

if we match or better the bottom six teams results over the next 4 or 5 games we will be in a great shape to stay up. we seem to have so much energy and commitment its hard to see us weakening at this stage of the season. if we get any injuries i would worry slightly but with the 2 new signings i feel even more confident. hull and sunderland looked doomed so its a toss up between boro, leicester, and maybe bournmouth who are leaking goals at a fair old rate just now. hope boro do get relegated after the way their fans insulted us last season and karanka is a total tool. utc

Hull look far from doomed
We will need at least another 9 points and I suspect Dyche will demanding even more

No I know a lot of people have Sunderland down as dead certs but with the players now returning from Africa I think the boost they get might just see them get their act together a bit.

We have 29 points at the moment and with 15 games to go I just think we are too good at the back so will continue to pick up points..

We shouldn't get to hung up about having to play United and Tottenham either, it didn't bother Hull or Sunderland this week.

Not over the line yet. Just done £75 @ 16/1. If it happens it'll pay for me to drown my sorrows.
