They deserved it. Nothing lucky about the result, they worked hard and we were absolutely terrible.

Hope they get a good draw in the next round

By far the better side. Their keeper wasnt stretched once.

Flanagan, Arfield, Vokes, Barton and Gray were very poor.

This is why we cant assume we are safe. We didnt compete today at all.

It always amazes me how these teams turn into supermen in the cup.

They were faster, stronger, more organised, more passionate, and more deserved.

Unbelievable.

They thoroughly deserved it. They did to us what we have been doing to premier league teams this year. Seems like our strength in depth isn't as strong as we need it be. I have no complaints with the result and hope they can march on even further.

No complaints at the result. We didn't deserve to lose, but we certainly didn't deserve to win. We would have loved to win like that against a team from a higher league.

Lets be clear tho, that was not our full strength side by any means.

Maybe we should have gone full strength.

Beat Hull and this is a distant and unimportant memory.

They did a number on us today, and no mistake. If ever there was a time to bring us down to Earth after all the praise we(and Dyche) got last week, it was now. Sean had his pants pulled down.

Yes, as annoyed as I am by our pathetic excuse for professional footballers today, you can't begrudge Lincoln the win. They fought extremely well and did enough to nick the goal. Well done.

well played to the imps, take my support for the clarets out of it and its great for the cup, becomes part of the fabric of and majic of it...
sad thing for me is i've seen us lose to two non league teams now, in my time supporting burnley, but today's performance was the worst ive seen for a long while, maybe a bit of arrogance in the side today, frustrating.

hope the imps get promoted, and get a home draw in the quarters they deserve it

Hats off to them, dominated the 2nd half, had us stuck in our own half until the final 10 minutes. That Arnold lad caused us problems just by running at Flanagan with pace, something we lack, still.

Come on then, we actually thinks we are safe? Wheeling out OAPs, weakened side, laughing stock.

Well played the Imps.

Yep, well done lincoln. They out stregthed us, out fought us and out worked us. I have not seen us that bad for a long time. There were signs right from kick off we were not mentally on our game and it cost us big time.

It's a terrific result for the Cup and Lincoln. They worked hard and made it v difficult for us and deserved their result (even if I think we didn't really deserve to lose)

Hopefully Sutton will do one on Arsenal and you will play them in the quarters so there will be a non league team in the semis

I don't think either team played well, but it's goals that count and they scored. Hope they get a home draw in the next round and good luck to them. Hope they get back in the league to.

Well done Lincoln, they did to us what we tend to do to the 'bigger' teams. However, it wasn't the same team, or performance, that got us a draw against Chelsea and I still think we will get a result away at Hull.

Said exactly that. How can a team 4 levels below us have something we lack.

Totally deserved the win today.

I backed them to win 1-0 @ 33/1 just in case we didn't win 4-1.

I'm disappointed but happy.

A Lincoln fan on the train (before the game) said he had put £5 on 1-0 Raggett first scorer @ 550/1. That'll pay for his champagne tonight.

We were woeful today and either got sucked into a war or, more worryingly, had nothing else to offer. Well done Lincoln. I look forward to a reaction against Hull.

It was a dire game to watch, but fair play, its up to our lot to impose ourselves on them.

Hope they get the easiest tie at home in the next round, or failing that, Man United away.

Did what they had to do. Probably surprised how easy it was to drag us down to non league level football. It certainly surprised me! We were utter dross and I honestly cannot remember how long ago we played that badly. Certainly around 3 decades ago. Never mind, back to the real business next week. Another game that will be very difficult.

Can't say I agree Lincoln deserved to win. Don't begrudge them their win but they had 1 shot on target and too many of our players had an off day, Lincoln played as well as they can. It happens, gutted but all today proves is we don't have a strong squad - we're still short of quality and cover especially both full back areas. Lots of people slating Gray too - yes he's had a poor game but who else have we got right now? This was a real chance to get to the semis with a kind draw, I don't buy into this "lets concentrate on the league" mentality from some either. Gutted and a bit embarassing for us but good luck to Lincoln in next round.

Our poor squad played sunderland off the park in the reply and comfortably saw off bristol city. In all sports teams can have off days and look like they've never met each other before, today, that was us.. you only need to compare our home and away from to see the inconsistencies that can happen in sport
