As much as I've enjoyed Barton's time with us he, more than anyone cost us today with his theatrics and personal battles. What he was doing being drawn in by a load of non league chuggers is anyone's guess but I suppose it is part of his complicated make up. It really wasn't good.

Heaton 5- Nothing to do except pick the ball out his net. -1 for playing in a losing side to Lincoln
Darkiwa 7- Our only good player
Tarkowski 5- easy afternoon lost to Lincoln so -2
Keane-5 same
Flanagan 3- cancel his loan absolutely shocking all afternoon
Boyd-3 Was he playing, gudmundsson did more in his 20 mins
Barton 3 where to start, couldn't control the game, we saw the Joey Barton a lot of people thought we would get before he joined , was wounded up so easily
Westwood 5 thought he was ok but lost to Lincoln
Arfield-3 looked like a free agent from Huddersfield
Vokes 4- Looked slugish and couldn't win a header
Gray 3-looked like a national league north striker

Could be overreacting

Boyd 5

I have no idea what I have just witnessed...

Heaton 1 - god knows what he was doing for the goal, It was like Brian Jensen all over again, a top keeper runs through the bodies and punches it away.
Darikwa 5 - Our best player, says it all.
Tarkowski 4 - nothing to mark him on really, composed on the ball.
Keane 4 - same as Tark.
Flanagan 1 - Another disgraceful performance, like an expensive Brian Easton. Looks absolutely nowhere near the player he was 3 years ago.
Boyd 1 - did nothing.
Arfield 1 - zero composure, lacks any real quality.
Barton 2 - fired up for it, won 50/50s but mentally he was weak, looked on the edge of exploding multiple times.
Westwood 2 - barely noticed him, we never had any control of the ball, as a team we never really passed it along the ground with any tempo. I thought he was a ball playing midfielder, he should have set the tempo.
Vokes 1 - that chubby heffer Rhead had more quality and a bigger impact.
Gray 3 - tried and tried, few good runs, first touch was crap today.

From TV:

Heaton 5
Darikwa 6
Keane 5
Tark 5
Flanagan 3
Arfield 4
Barton 4
Westwood 4
JBG *no mark*
Vokes 4
Gray 4

Boyd 4
Barnes 5

Unacceptable performance. Nobody comes out with credit although Darikwa was the least bad of a rotten selection. The game plan wasn't right today either - we tried to play them at their own game instead of concentrating on our strengths. It's not often Sean Dyche comes unstuck but by focusing on not getting bullied out of the game we took our eye off the things we do well.

It's a day to forget.

At least I'm going to get a trip to Liverpool in the league when I'm back in the country.

Heaton 5
Darikwa 4
Keane 5
Tarkowski 6
Flanagan 3
Arfield 3
Westwood 4
Barton 3
Gudmundsson 5
Vokes 3
Gray 3

Boyd 3

Simply woeful. Flanagan - nowhere near good enough - abysmal - but we probably already knew that...if Ward gets injured we will be forced to move Mee back to LB surely. Arfield was terrible too and Boyd no better when he came on. Vokes was completely ineffective and Gray so poor.

Tactically inept for a number of reasons - we played right into their hands.

Properly Embarrassing especially, Joey. Thrown away our best chance of a FA Cup Wembley appearance since 74

Heaton 6 One shot at goal and we defended yet another last minute corner apallingly
Darikwa 5 mom? Looked ropey defending but better going forward
Keane 5 Not at his best
Tarkowski 7 Seemed determined to make up for his woefully underperforming team mates
Flannagan 3 Wow. How poor can one player be in a repeat of his Accy performance
JBG 6 Game changing foul
Westwood 5 Not seeing too much from this fella but not the worst
Barton 3 WTF
Arfield 3 WTF 2
Vokes 4 Barely won a header
Gray WTF 3 The return this time he cant be serious!!

Boyd 3 Game changing substitution. Woeful does not do it justice

I was there v Wimbledon. Properly pi***d off 42 years ago and gave my Leeds supporting mate a slap when he tried to take the micky. Am on the hunt for another scapegoat the noo!

Barton was unfortunately back to his pre Burnley worst because he was surrounded at every turn by incompetence.
It's something he hasn't had to deal with so far at Burnley

Heaton 5 poor distribution poor for the goal
Flanagan 3 dreadful looks every inch a non league player
Keane 6 Did fine
Tarkowski 5
Darikwa 6 MOM only one offering anything positive going forward. Cleaned up well at the back
Barton 3 lost his head when he should have been controlling the game and being creative
Westwood 5 did ok but no creativity
Airfield 5 wasteful with chances
Boyd 4 offered nothing going forward whatsoever
Vokes 4 didn't hardly win a header all afternoon
Gray 4 Did not run in behind enough and when he did either didn't get the ball or had a poor touch
JGB 6 looked positive before going off
Barnes 4 did nothing
Dyche 3 tried to play Lincoln at their own game. Played long ball after long ball despite winning nothing against their two giants at the back. Kept doing that all game and did not change anything. No width and no creativity. Everything down the middle and the soaked it up. Really showed his limitations as a manager today. Much of that defeat has to rest on his shoulders. Lincoln wasted time, played long balls and were overly physical but you can't blame them for that. They scored with their one shot on target and probably deserved it. We played right into their hands. One of the worst performances for years .

Heaton 3 kicking awful, commanding of box awful.
Darikwa 3 awful
Keane 6
Tarkowski 5
Flanagan 3 because weirdly the minimum is a 3. Being honest he's not much better than Brian Easton is he. Whatever he had at Liverpool is long gone.
Arfield 3 embarrassing
Westwood 4 about as bad as he was good last week
Barton 6 possibly our best player apart from trying to get involved with that big lad
Gudmundsson 4 unlucky with injuries
Vokes 4 didn't offer much
Gray 3 saved from being the worst player on the pitch by our left back

Boyd 3 did he come on?

Heaton 6. Nothing to do and I can't blame him for the goal, the defence switched off. Bloody awful kicking though
Flanagan 6. Did ok
Tarkoweski 7. MOM look comfortable with the ball and handled anything put at him
Keane 6. I blame him for the goal he switched off and did not organise his defence
Darika 6. Should have been giving the green light 2nd half to push forward
JBG 5. Injured.
Arfield 6. Scotty was the pick of our midfield he got himself into some great scoring positions but really let himself and the team
down
Barton 5. Dreadful today he was totally dominated and bullied out of the game by there No 9
Westwood 5. Very poor today. Disappointed with this lad after his good show against Chelsea
Vokes 5. Big and clumsy and does not win enough headers
Graay 5. Missed enough chances to have won the games 5 x over

Dyche 4. Got it totally wrong today. We played a miniature Burnley today and he had no idea how to beat them, but saying that if we have had off taken our chances we would have beaten them by 3 or 4
