He has been off the pace in recent games. Not sure we can read too much into it today - it sounds like they were all as bad as each other.

Having come through the non league this is a game i expected him to thrive.

I wouldn't say he Couldn't pass or Dribble but he has always had a poor first touch

If the coaching staff don't sort his 1st touch out rapidly he won't remain a top flight player for long

Gray had a chance on the left hand side of the goal. He took it with his right and shot wide. Left foot was the natural and goal scoring shot to take.

he has always had a poor first touch but today he only controlled the ball once, the rest of the time it was like watching him juggle a bar of soap.

What does he have in his locker? A decent shot maybe?

He has no first touch, no understanding of the off side rule, doesn't challenge for headers, no anticipation of where the ball is going.

Poor by AG today, but not really worse than the rest of em.

His first touch is appalling and doesn't look like it's getting any better. Really disappointing today.

He did have a poor game today, along with a lot of others. I wouldn't give up on him until he starts getting the service he deserves and needs, if he still keeps missing then is the time to judge.

However, he was dire today. He's been poor in general for about 10 months. His first touch hasn't improved. He doesn't hold the ball up. Had that just been against Lazio and not Lincoln, we would be crying with dismay at how we were robbed. So although we played poorly by our standards, we still coulda shoulda won. 4 things I would point out though, firstly, once JBG went off we had no real creativity, secondly, for all the media talk of how well organised Dyche's sides are, where was our organisation for the corner we conceded from (not the first time by any stretch I've said this), and our organisation for huge chunks when Boyd switched wings and Arfield played as a CM, thirdly, why did we play so narrowly (as soon as we started to utilise Darikwa up the wing we looked like scoring constantly), and fourthly, did Dyche's substitutions disappoint yet again?

He was very very poor today. So was the rest of the team.

Vokes was equally as poor.

If you split a defence or go pet a ball over the top on his right foot then he's lethal. Burnley don't play those balls to home, they play them to him with his back to goal, and he's not good enough at that. His touch is terrible. He controls it 5 yards away from him all the time, meaning he may as well not bother going for it.

If Gray had his physique and pace(?), but Barnes' touch and nasty streak, he'd be a 30 goal per season stri,er, and probably not playing for us. He needs to take a serious look at Ashley Barnes.

He didn't run into the channel to get it onto his right foot all game, other than when he was offside. And he missed 2 sitters with his right foot. I've got a more lethal wooden spoon

Gray played today liked he couldn't use his left foot. Good to be reminded that he scored with his left against Lpool.

I don't know if Tom Heaton's game was effected by him not expecting to play? Generally, he didn't have a lot to do. I liked his turn late on when he was caught well up field.

Barton, by my feeling, got caught up in playing against Lincoln's "big guy" and got sucked into taking him on and trying to put him in his place. One of my tactics when I was playing was to get in tight in behind and in the head of the opposition's best player - it was often effective in neutralising their much better footballing skills. Joey should have "stepped back" and stayed with his game. Should never be a problem when playing against Prem players.

Now enjoying watching Wolves v Chelsea. "Wolves had more chances on goal than Chelsea" quoting the half-time pundit.

Thought he was excellent against Leicester without scoring and has been showing signs of improvement since the turn of the year. He plays in a side where he gets terrible service from the flanks and isn't or will ever be the kind of player to create his own goals. He was one of many bad performers today but we are a much better team with him. Barnes or Gray? I'd choose Gray every time

Definitely looks like he's lost a yard of pace since earlier in the season. Whether he's carrying a knock or he's lost his mojo I am not sure.

His first touch today was akin to a dog with a balloon but everyone has an off day.

He was poor today, lacked composure in dangerous positions and snatched at a couple of decent chances. The service to him wasn't great today but at times he seems to be on a completely different wavelength to the rest of the side. The few occasions where a decent ball was played in his direction he failed to bring the ball under control.

He's a raw talent and I think with a lot of hard work he could make the grade. We've seen snippets of the player he could be.

He's been with us heading towards 2 seasons, one of which will be in the top league of English football.
