Embarrassing fan

Post by emlu74 » Sat Feb 18, 2017 9:26 pm

I normally say very little on here but felt I had to put my two penneth in. I have never felt so embarrassed than standing with a group of young fans waiting for their idols to appear and a grown man verbally abuse the players when they appeared. The children were very upset as were the players, who were quite visibly shell shocked. Many will say they deserved it but in front of a bunch of kids it was unacceptable. Luckily he was ignored largely and they went about their business, bar one or 2 players who clearly felt they couldn't handle a bunch of fans who love them no matter what, I won't name. Anyway to you that so called Burnley fan, I hope your proud of yourself and I for one will not speak to you again if you grace these pages

Players are not beyond reproach, they perform poorly, then they deserve abuse. Especially if they aren't good enough and shouldn't be playing for the club, like Keith Andrews at rovers.

Someone you knew then.
People get carried away in the moment but decency should lead to self control around women and children. Sadly respect and good manners are something we see less and less these days.

I'm amazed anyone would wait outside to see any if our players after that display.

The team has been booed off for much less

Kids forget very quickly and despite the result my little lad still wanted to see, who he thinks, are his idols. He's someone I know loosely and got told by a few to shut the f**k up. It was disgusting and people forget where we are are clearly

Emlu can only think said fan lost it and it sounds inappropriate . But look at it as a valuable life lesson ... I.e .... son don't grow up to be a funkin space cadet like this idiot shouting his box off ?

What gives any fan the right to abuse anyone. People who think it's ok show themselves up for what they are.

10.40 I guess?

If you really are over 40 years old I despair.

From your constant juvenile bilge and goading I had you down to be in your teens at best.

Asking you to grow up is pointless.

Whilst he may attention seek , I think he maybe just needs us to go easy on him . I'm not sure if he was a little bit infamous on rovers mad .
