At Edge End I had Kendal as head of year with Markindale as a form teacher.

Year below (77 to 83) and moved away in the final year. I remember Ely Cathedral in chalk on Cubbard's blackboard, the bang of football on meshed window in the top goal, the caretaker's bucket of sawdust, art classes with Throup on Friday mornings, and Kirsty Robinson.

I was at QEGS same time as Pimlico and all my mates were either Clarets or PNE fans. I can't remember coming across a single Rovers fan

Bentham Grammar School. Anyone else on here attend. There were other Burnley fans there at the same time as me. I believe one went on to be a policeman in the Burnley area.
