My son and daughter both went to St Wilfrids. Excellent school Both got a great education there. Neither of them were bullied. Pair of them tough as old boots. Daughter claret and blue through and through. Loved taking her Burnley FC pump bag and other Burnley paraphernalia to school!

Ulverston High School - Not such great memories but lucky to have had a few excellent teachers and Sixth Form College was quite fun.

Same sort of era as me (81 - 86). Always liked Mrs(think it was Miss) Speak, looking back she was very classy and elegant

I had Mr Dawson as form tutor until he got sent down for some alleged wrong doing with a male pupil. Turned out he was completely innocent and it was all made up :?

Yep remember them well.
I was always scared of Throup with his jars of pickled snakes in his office.
Cubbard would sit in class puffing away on his pipe. No such think as passive smoking then.
I was there from 76 to 81, what about you ?

At Edge End I had Kendal as head of year with Markindale as a form teacher.
