***Spot the Ball - RESULTS NOW IN - Spot the Ball***

Taken from our amazing defeat to Lincoln, we have FIVE images !

Usual rules apply. ALL images have been "doctored" to remove the ball and prevent you from finding it !

Be careful... some are "diabolical" !!!

5 Direct Hits will see you zoom up the leagues !!!

Results sometime Saturday afternoon, probably after the win at Hull ;)

This might not be a trick, but a conspiracy against Buxton and myself in the hope that we will suffer from late season fatigue due to our exertions in the cup.

Spot did say that you'd think just that !

It's a level playing field, just like last Saturday... 11 v 11

Unfortunately, the ref had a poor first half and JB felt the need to take things into his own hands in the second half. Just look carefully at the third image. (Actually, you don't have to look THAT carefully). Michael Keane is having his shirt ripped off his back. It happened the whole game. As for the fat guy's forearm smash into JB's neck... that was a straight red all day long !

What a nightmare. New boiler installed last week. So far seems to be working efficiently. Spot the dog would feel very cosy. Insurance to cover cost of three new carpets. These were laid yesterday. Now the house is full of carpet dust and fluff. It'll take from now till Easter to get all the furniture back in position, all the books back in the book cases, all the ornaments washed and back in their rightful place, all the crockery back in the cupboards etc. Is Spot good at domestic chores? May I borrow him?

The three rooms that were affected all need decorating. I can't bear to think about it.

On top of all that I am expected to concentrate on your pesky competition. Ever since that dratted Redbeard cast doubts on my integrity my judgement has gone downhill. I'm dropping down the league like a stone.

It was nice of you to ask

Dazzlers right. (Though he's had a lot more bookings than me :D ) Have to put a few reserves in for this one.

Season's coming to an end soon. Big question is... can the reserves hack it?! Sean Dyche certainly got a shock last Saturday by fielding some reserves ;)

I was certainly one of the old regulars, but unfortunately cannot take credit for that brilliant comedy moment. I can't remember who was responsible for it, but it's up there with some of my favourite ever UTC posts!

Apologies Wexford, and TheFamilyCat, who posted this...

With the smell of cup glory in my nostrils, I realised the only option was to buy the DVD of the Swansea game, wait for Sam's headed chance, pause the player, put some chicken wire over the screen and hey presto - spot the goal immortality beckons.

I say through the game once but didn't see Sam's chance. Confused, I replayed the full game assuming I must have nodded off; but no, once more there was no footage of this.

I could only draw the conclusion that somehow this must have been cut from what was sold as a full match DVD.

After writing to Watchdog regarding the blatant breach of Trading Standards legislation, I returned to and studied the image, focussing on the keeper to see if there was anything in his body language which may give a clue to the direction of the ball. Alas, his posture gave nothing away but what about his eyes?

I zoomed in on the keeper, looking at his face in detail for the first time and noticed something that didn't quite register at first. His face, his face.... that's Gomez! The Watford keeper! Oh hell's bloody bells.

I raced to the postbox to try to fish out the erroneous letter to Watchdog but after no luck, waited for the postie to collect so I could plead with him to return the letter to me.

I now had too little time to complete the 120-mile round trip to Burnley to exchange the DVD so have no choice but to rely on guesswork and the hope that my opponent fails to turn up.

One of the funniest posts on this site.... ever !
