Blackburn played quite well against Man U but that didn't save Horseface.

Leicester are about one of five or six clubs who have a good chance of being relegated.

They're also one of 16 clubs who could win the f***ing Champions League... this is absolute madness, a stab in the back and complete billhooks.

And yet they wonder why there is no loyalty left in football!

Outrageous if true. They may not have been impressive last night but 2-1 with an away goal is a cracking result at Saville. One of the few Premier managers I would enjoy spending time in the company of and still one of the top mangers, way above what Leicester should be expecting to attract.

Hope they get turned over big style on Monday.

The players couldn't be arsed this season by the looks of it and whilst its the managers job to get them going, I think a few managers would've struggled there.

We get relegated and keep our manager. A team owned by foreigners win the PL and are in the last 16 of the CL and sack their manager. What a contrast.

I would say that Leicester have a better chance of staying up without him. They were the weakest team I've seen at The Turf this season.

Spoke to him briefly after the game at the Turf, he came across as a wonderful person, it is my opinion that he has been dumped on from a great height. There really is no loyalty left in the game these days, and it is so sad that another manager is shown the door.

It's a pity for them that the new manager isn't coming in during a transfer window, because I can't believe that they've still got Morgan and Huth as the centre back two.

He was about to take them down, probably the right decision depending on who they have lined up to replace him. Shame as he came across as a nice chap.

I agree that he should have resigned after last season. Was obvious the only way was down, could have gone out on a high and as a hero.

The wage bill no doubt played a part in the decision. If he couldn't motivate the players in a CL & title defence season it's difficult to see how he could motivate them in a Championship season, so it's bin him now and hope they stay up, or bin him in the summer, sell their best players, and hope the new manager can get them back up.

Seems fair enough to me.

So sad. I really like the guy but their management are shi**ing themselves that they are going to get relegated from the Prem. Money raising it's ugly head once more in football. How surprising :o

Just seen this. Article is terrible (possible translated) but scroll down for contracts.

http://sportsmaza.com/football/leiceste ... rs-salary/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

That isn't say there aren't other clubs at the bottom with large wage bills, but that's unsustainable in the Championship. An exodus would be inevitable and they'd be back to where they were five years ago.

Yeah. They were nailed on for relegation. The players had stopped playing for him and he didn't seem to have the man-management or tactical skills to turn it around. The players have let themselves down but it's easier to sack 1 manager than 20 players - look at the difference with Chelsea this season.

Leicester have looked clueless this season and Ranieri should take responsibility for that as much as the players.

Exactly. Our board were bright enough to realise that Dyche had pulled off a miracle to get us promoted and didn't punish him for failing at a level we weren't good enough for in the first place.

I wonder. If Leicester had had an ordinary season last year, would Ranieri have been sacked for being where they are now?

Brilliant that Combat, the final scene from one of my favourite films Planet Of the Apes. There timing seems strange but it's hard to feel sorry for the guy, "crying all the way to the bank" springs to mind.

The players haven't "let him down". They've gone back to what they always were. Average footballers.
Kante carried the whole team last season. Without him they have nothing.

So N'Golo Kante is the sole difference between winning the league and relegation? I think not.
