Yes definitely, I've just recently returned from a trip to India, all over the place from Mumbai to Kolkata and Delhi in the north and they show the premier league on Star Sports which is their equivalent to Sky. In fact I managed to watch 2 live BFC games while I was there. Most good hotels have the games on. UTC!

Re: Premier league in India
catcatcheter - been to Goa ten times since 2001 and got Premier League football on the tv in my hotel room every year.
They are obsessed with it and have it in the hotel lobby as well as the rooms and all the bars and seem to be able to access whatever games people ask for.

I'm in Rohet in the middle of nowhere in the Thar desert. About an hour's drive from Jodhpur. Beautiful place with wild camels, black buck and peacocks roaming around.BFCmaj wrote:Just out if interest catcatcher, where abouts are you?

I wish I was watching from India, as I'd feel a lot more comfortable right now knowing that we couldn't be relegated from the Premier League.
Re: Premier league in India
Probably have it on at the raos place in pune. They clearly couldn't care less about the championship.

The Indians will all be in a bad mood today having just lost a cricket test match on their home turf to the Aussies.

Re: Premier league in India
I was in Chennai in Dec and watched our game against Spurs in a bar. Be warned though, a lot of places will advertise as Sports bars, and even say they have the Premier League on. They don't all do. However, this season the EPL coverage moved to the HD BEIN sports channel and not on the SD channels, so a lot of bars have been priced out. So do your research carefully.

Sounds beautiful. I've been to Jalandhar in The Punjab to visit family on my wife's side a couple of times. Would love to explore other parts of India.catcatcher wrote:I'm in Rohet in the middle of nowhere in the Thar desert. About an hour's drive from Jodhpur. Re: Premier league in India
The question shoud be Is there any Premier League in India's small impoverished illiterate latest colony? Only on dodgy dishes up Shadsworth.
Re: Premier league in India
What's this obsession with shadsworth? Have you seen fishmoor drive and roman road estate?

List of all foreign channels showing today's game.
http://www.livesoccertv.com/match/19806 ... s-burnley/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
As Cutsy says, mobdro might have a stream or two showing the game.
You can put kodi on your phone too.
Loads on there showing it. I usually watch the Mamahd one.
Or Firstrow sports.

Re: Premier league in India
It is lovely, this is our third visit to India. We visited the Punjab two years ago- flash floods meant we went round the golden temple in Amritsar in an inch of water- very atmospheric! We stayed on a farm and the rain was so bad the tractors were stuck in the mud. Glad to say this time weather currently 27 degrees and sunnyBFCmaj wrote:Sounds beautiful. In Mumbai at the moment. Our game doesn't appear to be on star sports.
