Very good game today. Should slap Keane for costing him a clean sheet bonus

I've always felt he's far better at defending than Trippier was.

Obviously now we have Brady, we won't miss Trippiers crossing as much!

I agree, very good today. Crossing a little wayward but first and foremost he is a defender, and he defended very well today.

Best right back we have had from a defensive point of view in many years.

Lowton has been outstanding over the last two months or so.

Looks full of confidence and so solid. I realise they are perhaps not 'sexy' footballers, but Lowton and Ward have been great this season and I certainly don't look at them and think that we need replacements.

My man of the match today, outstanding defensively and seems to be playing with bags of confidence. If he could just improve his crossing a little he'd be a bigger asset.

I do think that having such a disciplined player as Boyd in front of him makes a huge difference. Compare this to Ward who seems to have struggled a little more with the defensively suspect Brady in front of him.

Roberstons a good player. But id not be investing there as a priority over other positions.

Wing, up top and centre half should be priority.

I like Lowton, not sure why some people cop him flak. But I'd add there was little wrong with Trippier's defensive game in the last couple of seasons he was with us. Dyche saw to that. Seems strange to compare them. Trips is certainly the best full-back I've seen at Burnley by some distance (past 35 years).

Haven't seen the game today, but sounds like he is really settling in, or just coming into form. The last month and a half he's been outstanding.
Robbie Brady needs the same time to settle in, lot of negative comments today. I don't doubt he didn't have a great game, but give the lad a chance. Hedrick looked iffy first couple of games, nearly all new players do settling into a new team. Patience please.

Brady is a quality player. He wasnt at his best today but his first touch pace and awareness are attributes you need in the Prem.
Once hes settled in we will like Hendrick see the best of him.

If Hull go down, we should be straight in for Maguire to fill a certain Keane shaped hole (arguably that will be Tarky, but we need another centre back in either case).

All of our back four are indispensable. Yet again we conceded to a dead all. How often has that happened. From open play they are magnificent.

Tinribs nailed it for me. Lowton was getting stick after his first few games. I really hope we don't become cynical Prem run of the mill fans and maintain our loyalty to the players who wear The shirt and give them time.

I honestly think that our pursuit of Robertson has made Lowton up his game significantly in the last six weeks. If he could cross a ball he would play for a top six club in my opinion, he is that good defensively.

I thought to say Maguire looked overweight, slow and hindered by his injury he played very well.

We wouldn't have lost last week if Ward and Lawton had played.

If they go down, I'd chuck money at them for Maguire and Robertson. That with a winger and a striker and I'd be confident going into next season.

I said the same and got laughed out of town by the muppet show! Build from the back , mess with the strickers even.with the mid but leave the foundation of the team alone
