Its a long time since Ian Brennans winner at Anfield but I think this might be the season we complete the double over the Scousers.
They were awful v Leicester and seem to be totally disjointed.
Clarets win at Anfield.

I'm living in a different world. I'm watching Liverpool playing Leicester and thought it was live.Woodleyclaret wrote:Its a long time since Ian Brennans winner at Anfield but I think this might be the season we complete the double over the Scousers.

They do well against the top teams but seem to struggle against bottom half of the table battlers.

I have to admit, if we were only allowed one, this would be the one I'd want.

Re: Clarets win at Anfield.
Look at the goals against column for Liverpool against the so called weaker sides
Burnley away 2-0
Sunderland away 2-2
Bournemouth away 4-3
Hull away 2-0
Leicester away 3-1 so far
Swansea home 2-3
Wolves home 1-2 ( cup )
West ham home 2-2
Should arguably have 10-12 points more minimum if serious about challenging for the title.
Shocking goals against column, and you wouldn't see a Man United/Chelsea/arsenal/spurs side conceeding that many so often against the supposedly weaker sides, and in a few of those games they were in front or got level only to fall behind again. Literally points thrown away.

They had no defence. Matip, Lucas, Milner. If I was a fan I'd want to know what's going on.

Re: Clarets win at Anfield.
They had no striker either. From what I've seen of them, the way to beat them is to pack the midfield and defence because they struggle to get through (like we did at home), so I too can see us picking up at least a point there
