And that's yer lot.

I'm not that unhappy. If you'd have asked in August if I'd take a fighting run of games including narrow defeat at Anfield 2-1.....I think I'd take it. Helps being 7 or 8 points clear of the bottom 3 at the moment.

Injury time goals. Ugh.

And not getting any luck at all. Their equaliser has a lot of luck that it bobnles but stays close enough for him to finish it.

This is a mental thing now though - I am worried we might drop heavily

probably our best away performance - as I said individual mistakes - Mee & Heaton (He was too far to the left) cost us

Someone needs to tell Sean that Brady is a left winger...Anyone but Lowton on the end of that prob would have been a draw..balls

That's true but shocking lack of concentration and defending for the equaliser. That's a mental thing which is poor for us.

We had the chances to win this one though.

Fans - stop singing the winning away song - we've gone on to lose every game we have sung that

So near, yet so far. A valiant effort from the lads, but against twelve men it was
always going to be an uphill struggle.

On to the next away game - anyone remember where Turf Moor is ?

Why of why do we not try and play it through the middle just a few times? In the first 10 minutes we ran them ragged in the midfield. They closed us down quickly but I think we need to be braver, they were no great shakes at all. So frustrating that we don't try something different.

The inability to get to HT without conceding a soft, late goal, cost us a point today.

That is massively frustrating. As soon as we scored we sh*t our pants on the ball. They were there for the beating today, really average, and despite an excellent first 15 minutes we couldn't sustain a high enough level in possession. It's the inevitability of it that's exhausting, there was no way we were ever heading into half time leading. And it's not because of bad defending, we just can't stay calm and keep the ball. Eventually you'll get punished.
Good effort as always, it's just harder to take when it was a golden opportunity.

Hardly excellent when you've just shot yourself in the foot in a game that looked so comfortable till that point. There was a great deal to be pleased with until the 46th minute, but from thereon the outcome just seemed inevitable.
An excellent performance isn't littered with errors.

we took the game to them we didn't defend we played well the ref gave them all the decisions LLana should have had a red when he slid into Ward reckless nothing not even a foul - they wasted loads of time but ref criticised Heaton in the first half and didn't give us all the time they wasted.

well played lads 11 (9 foreigners for most of the game) plus ref and lino against 11 clarets

No complaints but the ball bounced better in the box for them than it did for us.

I know it's Liverpool but they're shocking at times. Hopefully we'll feel a lot less flat after the Sunderland game.

To say our players supposedly have these superior "Dyche fitness levels", we don't half concede a hell of a lot of goals at the end of halves.

Luck at the stats of our Long passes today in the final third after 15 minutes.

I'm not downbeat its a fact, for 15 minutes we passed the ball George Boyd was actually in the oppositions half.

Sorry I do not share your happy clappy views today but we played poorly bar the first 15 minutes in my humble opinion.

And sorry they where not world beaters today.

Sorry a message board is not for considering options but do you really think we played well today.

hopefully WE WILL NEXT WEEK

Thought Brady showed in glimpses awareness and quality that Arfield certainly doesn't have. But he's not got a right foot, that's for sure.

Have a look at the stats when they come out look at our balls into there half and 2nd ball pick ups there your answer after the period I mention.

Andre Gray had Klavin in his pocket how many balls did he receive to run onto actually have half a chance.

I think frustration may cloud a touch but it funny did we not all think this is coming.

Like I said opinions are great, Liverpool are well documented to struggle with teams who sit but no I didn't think we played well and in the end even if we did we got nothing for it.

I hope for better at Sunderland I will be there no matter what the score or result and be happy either way.
