No FA Cup replay?

Post by MACCA » Mon Mar 13, 2017 7:39 pm

Did i Just hear Lineker state that tonight's tie must be decided tonight even if it means extra time and penalties?

Is there no replays after a certain round?

A special Time Out can be called by any of the Managers, up to the 81st minute, where for ten minutes only the ball can be replaced by a life-sized inflatable Porpoise.

Think it is new for this season for the Quarter Finals.

In the unlikely event of a penalty shoot out going past 11 shots each, then random fans from each club will be picked from the crowd to take them.

So we will find out tonight if we play Man United on 23rd April or not.

If not, I think the game will be played midweek sometime in May.

Pretty sure I heard from next season replays will be scrapped from 3rd or 4th round to help with fixture congestion

Will that affect teams mentality in games?

Find it funny how Chelski fans are booing Mourinho for his touchline "antics" yet in years gone by they thought nothing of it.

Shows how fickle the "bigger" clubs fans really are.

I think it favours the bigger/better teams.

Still fancy United here. Siege mentality.

I think ManU will have been practising penalties at half-time. 75 mins of defending until then. ;)
