Another shout for Grafia, also some improvements to the lighting would be welcome.

In fairness all it needed was more clarity like Mark Greens post above

Replace them with some wrought iron gates that on none match day can be a tourist attraction in themselves.

My vote would be wooden boards displaying our rich history on an engraved timeline along with every players name who have played first team football for Burnley to be displayed at each end of the timeline. See attachment ( something similar to this but better for the players names )

For the gates i would think having a vote on our best manager of all times and the result being displayed in a key word picture and this attached to some new gates ( see second attachment )

I think the only issue with 'best manager' is what we saw with the player images. Its all subjective and emotional. The only real way to do something manager related would either be success based which can always be surpassed so in that case 'first'. First to win something.

The arfield idea is good as its recent and resonates with fans. But even though its beating Rovers it makes it seem like its the biggest deal to us. Which in many ways it is. But I would think something success related (trophy etc) is better.

Some big cast iron gates with club crest etc. at the road entrance. Claret or Claret and blue resin pathway, modern lighting and the timeline with mural.

I think whatever it is should be club related. Or firsts. Or team related rather than individuals. Unless there are exceptional circumstances. Brian Miller for example. Burnley born and bred and a one club man. There cant be much dispute about a tribute to that sort of player. Whereas an Ings or Arfield or Shackell come and go.
