That's a good point, at least Sunderland didn't score late on and ruin Saturday.

Why didn't we use 3rd sub? Another disappointing away game.

4-4-2 doesn't work away from home, worst team in league were there for the taking and we nearly lost it, again....

Striking department needs a serious upgrade. We need some clinical finishing so we bring on Vokes( I know there's no other option). We need someone creative in midfield and he's sat on the bench. If Dyche can't fit Defour in away from home his management style is not very dynamic. We won't win away all season but hopefully won't have to.

Mee man of the match. We should stay up but if we do we have to address the one-dimensional nature of our play. It`s painful to watch away from home.

God you lot....get a grip.

We had 56% possession, 17 attempts at goal.

We're 8 points clear of the bottom 3.

I'll take a point there. No criticism of Dyche. He's done plenty enough to secure my trust. All those crying for Defour....he appears to have gotten it right re. Bamford.

Enjoy another point in the Prem!

We've bottled it today.

Cue more blah from Dyche at his post match presser.

This not winning away is now a serious issue, and we're still no closer to winning away now than we were in August, judging by that second half performance.

Usual question marks over Dyche's use of subs and tactics.

Lack of creativity and it just showed we aren't great at dealing with actually having possession and breaking teams down. But yes it is another point on the board.

Gray was awful today, I don't think one ball actually stayed in play when it was hit up to him. Dyche must need to go to Specsavers if he couldn't see that.

Be careful what you wish for.

All I want is to get there.... I don't care if we only finish 17th. Hold tight, calm and together as a team. Asking questions is what gets you on the roller coaster. Winning is a habit. Grinding results is also a habit. I'm happy to start gaining a reputation for being an established Prem team. We'll find more results and decisions going our way.

I'm much happier getting all our points at home. Better for ST holders!

The tactics are pretty much the same home and away, just the results are different.

I think the comparison was that Dyche got it right then and he knows a lot more about Defour than you do.

Hit UP to him is the problem. Why don`t we try playing it through for him to run onto?

Given that we got a draw I think it would have been unwise to risk Defour today. He has two more weeks now to get fully fit. Worse scenario was that he came on after 70 mins today, limped off after 80 and he missed another month.
I don't know if that was Dyche's thinking, but it would certainly have been mine.

We had 56% and did f**k all with it. Possession means absolutely nothing.

Saved only by Sunderlands very poor finishing and some terrific goal keeping from Heaton.

17 shots is nothing? Before Sunderland even looked like getting in behind we should have been 2 up. They had a flurry in the first 10 mins of the 2ndhalf and then a couple of chances on the break.

We desperately need better finishers.

Another point is not to be sneezed at. Should have won it in the first half. Could have lost it.
