Please create a separate board for off topic discussions
I only come on here to find out about the club, particularly when I haven't seen the game and also in the transfer windows. Would it be possible for the people who want to debate politics and the state of society to have their own sub-forum? Yes, I know 'you don't have to read it' but the thread titles themselves are bad enough sometimes and you have to sift through to find the relevant stuff.
We aren't a big club so fans still have to rely on word of mouth much of the time. For the same reason, online communities like this are also important for people who don't live in the local area. This isn't a dig at anyone in particular, but I try to avoid flame wars, twitter spats and all the rest of it like the plague. I've seen forums with a similar design that have multiple boards so surely this can't be too difficult to do?

Perhaps this could be a chance for you to open up your own board?
You've spotted a gap in the market - go for it!

Re: Please create a separate board for off topic discussions
I reckon there should be a separate board for those of us who frankly couldn't be arsed to spend ages thinking up a snazzy user name and just stuck clarets on the end of something.

OP should read titles, click the one he wants and read/or reply. If there's nowt on page one then click onto page 2 and bump another thread, if need be.
Works for everyone else.

It works how it is - start sticking topics on other boards and many would then be missed.
Re: Please create a separate board for off topic discussions
I agree. It works how it is for us regulars

That'll be a 'No' then?

The diversity on here is what makes the board what it is
There's been many topics that I've see and not clicked on (&sNot just because of who was OP )

Hopefully they'll be a lot more diverse non-football topics within the next week.
What with the International break coming up.

Perhaps a board for people who are bored or want to to discuss boards; I like half inch plasterboard it gives a better finish if you are dotting and dabbing a wall.

Can honestly say I don't think I've ever done anything to avoid the plague.
Well, I suppose I frown at people that sneeze on aeroplanes. But, not much of an effort tbh.

Re: Please create a separate board for off topic discussions
No need for a separate area for non-footy topics, the thread titles are usually a very good pointer.
If you want footy only- go to e.g "Boyd and Arfield" and skip eg. "Chuck Berry has died".
I enjoy quite a lot of the non-footy stuff anyway excepting the ones that become boorish personal battles between the 3/4 regulars who revel in slanging matches.

An unbelievable OP from someone who hardly posts on here.
ALWAYS be suspicious of people who don't want to read something themselves, but will try and stop you reading it as well.. ..
- as mentioned...look at the thread title..
Boyd and Arfield.
Without Marney
Perspective on our away record.
AND
Are you anti-globalisation. Are you anti-capitalist?
It's not complicated is it?
