Would like a manager who knows his way about the bottom leagues and has contacts in Scotland, won't happen but he'd be on my radar.

It was Derek McInnes.

It's now Derek Adams.

Who next? Derek Acorah?

You are so yesterday Beamish my man, Derek Adams was my choice when SD arrived, the Board got that right, but I fancy he's grown as a manager since then.
McInnes was my pick when EH was selected, the Board probably got that right too but again a manager who has picked himself and made headway.

Derek McInnes completely failed in England at Bristol City.

Scotland is a non-entity and not a League that should be used by clubs like us.

Why? We should be moving on from lower league finds and Scotlands footballers are done, like their pits, just as in the NE.
We need to be finding players in Holland and France. That have already proved themselves but are available at reasonable fees. If they are told they can showcase themselves and move up the ladder they will come.

The two brothers from Lincoln that play football the Burnley way under Dyche, they would the perfect fit for us.

We got lucky plucking one untried Jock.

It definitely isn't a blueprint for success.

They are moving on to better things no doubt about that. I think the next move I'd like to see them make is to a failing big club in league one or two and see how they progress before moving to us. The gap is too big ATM

This is such a brazen and badly executed attempt at trolling/fishing that you would hope the OP would be banned.

He clutters up the board with unmitigated ********. It reflects very poorly on the board and adds nothing to it.

This will be his thing now for the next few months.

Like the 3rd goalkeeper.
Like McInnes
Like Easton
Like Edgar.

And he'll get bite after bite after bite.

He did help City avoid relegation, but as Ian says it's a club with issues.
Was the first club I supported, always thought it should be at the top table, and has continued to do so, probably the worst crowd for getting at its own players, unlike Burnley who undersell themselves City think they should be world beaters on peanuts. They needed someone like Stan to sort them out, tell them the truth about themselves.

Can you imagine a team with Adams as manager, Tarks, Edgar and Reny Smith in midfield. Easton and Eckersley marauding down the wings.

We can but dream.
