As we are dressed by Puma this might be of interest.

Not relevant to us because Arsenal have bespoke Puma kits made. Burnley don't, they pick from a catalogue like at Sports Direct.

Boring as it may sound we should just have the same strip that we had in 2009/10 and have it every season.

If we lose a bit commercially by going to Errea or similar then so what. Now we have so much premier league money we should still remain prudent, but there are little touches where we could write a bit off that would be better in the bigger picture.

We already have our old historic ground.

We should have old traditional kits, different things on offer in the kiosks (ale, local food stalls etc). Stand out from the rest! If we are staying up we should aim to compete with Utd, City, Liverpool and all the other localish big clubs by being different!!!

I'm sure they already know next seasons design. So why can't they get it ready to be on sale for the last match of the season. Everyone can then have them for their hols, instead of the usual wait till just before the season actually starts.

Wonder why when the town of Burnley has such a long history of textile manufacturing that we cant engage a local company to design and produce our strips?
Be good to keep the revenue in the local economy. Plus we will end up with a design that is not off the same template matrix as every other club.

Traditional kit made by Surridge Sport (they even have a kit designer on their website!), Moorhourses beer, Haffners pies. Sorted.

As wilks_bfc posted, the ones to look for are such as Leicester and Wolves.

Hopefully it will involve claret shirts with full blue sleeves.

Is it about time the club allowed outside companies to sell our shirts and get more people around the country wearing them. Sports direct should be a must for any brand trying to get bigger.

Agreed but I think we'll have to win something before the big boys become remotely interested.

Agree with comment above that they should be more widely distributed.

They can be, Order online and get it posted.

Doubt they're many people across the country who will walk into sports direct ( shudder ) and select a Burnley shirt with the wide range of other shirts available.

I'd like us to have a unique shirt however, these generic tops look pants.
We should be able to have some power regarding designing our own shirt if we stay at the big table long enough.
I'm sure even the likes of Accy etc have had Nike in recent years.

I really liked the strip we wore for a big anniversary, was vertical stripes and a little like the Argentinian strip, put some Claret in with it and would be a great away strip and totally different IMO of course

Do we distribute overseas at all or is everything just through the club shop?

Having shirts in shops other than the club shop isn't just for sales, it's also a form of advertising.

The club (and to a lesser extent Puma and Dafabet). I'm not so much thinking of SportsDirect and the like here, more overseas sports shops, the Far East, US, etc.

Puma and Defabet wont take a hit on shirt sales to have some tops in sports shops around the world I wouldn't have thought.

It would be really bad marketing IMO.

Much easier offering free bets/matched bets etc to drum up custom than offer Burnley tops around the globe.

You've lost Macca. How would Puma selling more shirts around the globe be them 'taking a hit'

Having our shirts alongside all other PL teams would just continue to associate us with them.

I'm assuming there would be other 'lowly' PL clubs there too, like WBA, Stoke etc. It's all about visualizing our kits alongside the world's best.

Puma wouldn't sell more shirts though, that's the point...

They'd sell very few, so the shop would tske the hit.

That's why it isn't happening now.

Here is Puma's teamwear catalogue for 2017/18. Our kits will more than likely be selected from this.
