Looks nothing like him.

Who does it look like more?

I will start with the Aussie cricket captain Steve Smith.

Sculpture is one area of human endeavour that seems to go backwards over time. The Romans and Greeks , let alone the great Renaissance artists, would be turning in their graves at this rubbish...

Nearly every sporting sculpture I have seen that has been commissioned in the past 25 years or so bears little resemblence to the subject.

They've got his giraffe neck correct at least.

This is shocking - with todays technology its possible to 3D scan a persons head / torso with a free app on a smartphone. 3D print the scan / make a mold / pour in the brass - no excuses.

This one bears little resemblance to a human being.

Remember a few years back, a Spanish lady made the news for a botched attempt at restoring a fresco in her church? I think she may have turned her handed to sculpture!
