Tough to pick now Boro have sacked off that pillock. Swansea will be thinking 3 points, Boro will have 'new' manager fuel.

0-0 it is

On MOTD 2 Extra both Chris Sutton and Didi Hamman both fear for us, only a few weeks ago nobody was mentioning us for relegation.

Bet Sutton would love to see us down. File under the prick list

I posted a few weeks/months ago that 10 points was not enough of a distance and that we'd be in the fight come the end of the season. But the same thing happened under Coyle. At one point we were sitting pretty in mid table - around 10th/11th I think and people were saying we were safe. With our away run of games, I think it was inevitable, that those 10 points would be cut down after the run. It's still in our hands though but this is where Dyche earns his crust.

As for today's game, 0-0 and a few suspensions for Boro players.

When we had a lead of 10 points this season, no team had ever gone down I believe (38 game season) with the same gap at the same point in the season so it's not misplaced optimism.

We might be the first if it happens I think.

I don't see another win full stop, so we need to be picking up as many draws as possible.

I feel the same way but I've felt like that all season. I think I don't nearly give our team enough credit. If we all stick together behind the lads we should do enough. We won't need many wins to get us safe. 'Boro look very poor. So we've just got to keep plugging away and hoping Swansea and Hull don't both do well.

Keep the faith. Keep positive. It will go right down to the wire for us but even if we drop into the bottom 3 we should have enough spirit and organisation to still have a decent chance of escaping.

Very worrying though that Hull in particular havnt read the keep Burnley up script. Bad results midweek and I think we might struggle to stay up THU we are misfiring at the wrong time.

Might just be West Ham that get dragged in, and we still have to play them at home.

its looking very tight everywhere now points wise, teams from 9th spot downwards seperated by just 3or 4 points.
we could be looking at a fight with Hull to avoid the drop if we slipup against Mark Hughes and his band of brutish thugs on Tuesday evening.
Got to be hopeful we can regain the recent home form.I think we need to Boo Stoke a lot and put them off all night.

Biggest week in many a year a head of us if we lose to both Stoke and Boro we are as good as right in the proverbial $hit and dropping like a stone not meany escape when you go from mid table into relegation material.
We need to get our tactics spot on for our next two games, it could well make or break our season to an extent, not down and out but it certainly will become squeaky bum time
With Everton away and Manure at home it really will put the cat among the pigeons and everyone on sundry will be looking down the barrel I just hope we can roll it out
We need to relive the pressure that's building because make no mistake everyone was thinking if not saying it we were nearly there,we are but doing it the Burnley way should hold a national heath warning.
This is going to down to the wire hold on tight and that last game of the season could well be an us or them. UTC

If, and I know it's highly unlikely, Rovers go down another league, would the thoroughly decent Tony Mowbray realise he's managing a putrid club leave with dignity?

Furthermore west ham have some tough fixtures moreso than burnley.sunderland being the easiest on paper, would love defoe to bag the winner against them. And burnley to seal their fate last game of the season!
