There's lots of parking round the back of the stadium, but can take a while to get out.

Park in town centre near to the station, pint in Wetherspoons, nice walk to ground, 3 points then 3 pints, a nice day out.

We just parked on the side pavements near the ground for the cup tie, but it did take 25 minutes to get out afterwards. We drank in the Jovial Monk. Friendly enough but locals drank cans rather than real ale. 5 minute walk through the outdoor market. Allocated away pubs are in the centre but don't know how far a walk it is.

Wetherspoons pub is called the Isaac Wilson, big and friendly, 12 minute walk to the ground via disused dockland and large contraceptive masquerading as art. That's Teesside for you.

Just a heads up. The Police have now stopped the parking on the hill just outside the ground. Cars were allowed to park on the grass verge off the road, no more i'm afraid. The centre of the road had a concrete island that was a built up, cars were allowed to park there but that's be stopped also.

The Jovial Monk is ok. Plenty of pub games. Cheap beer. Shops all around for food and only 5 minutes from ground.
The florist across the road let us park on his backstreet too.

It reminded me of a run down pleasent home and pride.
