Heaton - 8 - Not a great deal to do but made a very good save
Lowton - 8 - Solid and a great goal line clearance
Keane - 7 - Not marking him down for the slip but he'd got himself the wrong side of Bamford, otherwise very good
Mee - 8 - Defended very well, particularly from crosses
Ward - 7 - Poor first half, excellent second half - our biggest attacking threat
Boyd - 7 - A mixture of good interceptions and poor end product
Barton - 7 - Better than recent weeks, showed composure on the ball in the final stages
Hendrick - 6 - Quiet, I would prefer to see him operating in more advanced areas of the pitch at times
Brady - 7 - His best game for us, showed positivity whenever he had the ball and was very unlucky with two very good free kicks
Barnes - 6 - Got bossed by Ayala and got himself a ridiculously stupid booking - refs are now wise to his antics
Gray - 6 - Fed off scraps, but the scraps that made their way to him were wasted

Vokes - 6 - Probably won a little more than Barnes but didn't influence the game, should have done better with his chance

Definitely better today.Second half we played some really good football through Barton, Hendrick ( back to his best), Brady (best game for us so far) and Ward who was excellent going forward. We even put crosses into the box. The game passed Andre by through no fault of his own.
The only down side was Keane had another poor game. His distribution has gone to pot, and some of his defending is going as well. Thank God for Mee.

Heaton - 8 - Not much to do but cracking reflex save from the overhead kick ,as usual very safe hands caught everything
Lowton - 8 - Good game defended well and goal line clearance
Keane - 7 - Fair play on the foul he had the brain to both keep it out of the box and make it look like a slip, touches of class but touches of naïveté to.
Mee - 7 Ran the box well for high balls though got turned inside out on his left side
Ward - 7 - superb late interception though a poor first half got forward a bit too
Boyd - 7 - ran hard (as he does) and some decent ball wins though a couple of wasted balls too
Barton -8 Back to his best today some neat play and a wonderful turn late in the game that too 2 of their lads out helped see the game out
Hendrick - 6 Was decent on the ball but feel he needs to be a little higher up the pitch at times
Brady - 7 - Good to see him start gave us smite positive feel and unlucky with two cracking free kicks ,hopefully a regular now
Barnes - 6 - Not his best today and looked a little outclassed to be really fair
Gray - 6 - Got very little to feed off can't really fault him

Vokes - 6 - Did ok and a touch better than Barnes but again not a lot to get his teeth into

An ugly game to be fair with 2 poor prem sides ( let's be honest here) few clear chances though boro did have the better quality breaks ,though they cheated and bitched like the overpaid relegation ponces they are

Lowton 8 Excellent game. Two very important clearances late on.
Keane 7 I think he might have dodged a bullet with the Bamford slip/tackle.

Ward 8* MOM An excellent days work down the left. Created possibly the best chance of the afternoon when he crossed for Ash to dummy and Brady to strike. Pity it went wide as it would have been a great team goal.

Jeepers Creepers we are dull to watch.

I've seen crap Burnley sides but you knew from the first whistle we were shite..

I wish we would release the shackles a bit for a couple of minutes a match. A burst into the box late by a midfielder or a cross or two to a penalty box with 3 or 4 attackers in.

Back 5 all 6s .... solid

Mid and Front 2 all 5s... handcuffed

A point closer but I can't help feeling we'd be a point or even 4 points further on if we'd have given Sunderland and or Boro a bit more to think about.
