Mourinho reception
Wondering what sort of reception he will receive on Sunday?
I can only hope that Ashley has been at the club shop this week getting various numbers printed on his vest.

Re: Mourinho reception
Good the feeling seems to be mutual.
It was disgusting the way he felt he could treat and use our club to cover his own shortfalls.
Hoping our fans sat behind his dugout have some creative poster skills.

He will be more than use to any abuse we give him. Unless you can get Rocky onto the pitch and give him a big sloppy kiss with tongues a slight nibble of his ear and a who are ya with his screech to follow into his somewhat stunned face.

Is no one going to applaud him?
There must be someone on here genuinely excited about the most successful and mist decorated premier league manager, managing a team on the Turf...
Do people not go on the Turf to appreciate Great individuals and masters of their field? I thought that was what it was all about?

I might even buy one of them scalding hot pies to throw at him, on impact the third degree burns will spread from the back of his head and make it's way downwards like lava.

Re: Mourinho reception
Won't be as bad as OC got but will, deservedly, be very hostile I hope.
When he first came on the scene in English football he was fairly refreshing but has got carried away with his own hype and become morose & self centred. A Clarets win v ManU at this stage would be good but, given the Mou ingredient, I'd be getting the champagne out and laughing my way through Sunday evening.

Best way of dealing with the attention seeking self opinionated Mourinho is to ignore him completely but I don't think I would be able to resist the odd comment...

He's a pantomime villain. He'll lap up any abuse coming his way.
Re: Mourinho reception
If he gets wound up there's a good chance he could be sent to the stands. The best way to achieve that is to play Barnes.

Instead of the plastic flags they are giving out it should be signs with the number of minutes he banged on about for us to hold up.

I will. Enjoy seeing all the visiting managers and players. Don't understand the negative hostility. Surely that just motivates them to be us?

I didn't say ever, I said premiere league manager.
Understand why you may have got confused at a quick glance though.
Re: Mourinho reception
If all fans just applauded opposing managers and players that would make a cracking atmosphere. Let's not make it intimidating in case anyone gets upset or is offended.
