United fans in JML
Thought i saw some red shirts being chased into the concourse towards end of game
Why do the big teams fans feel the need to sit in the home end then want to cause trouble

Re: United fans in JML
Utd fans in CFS today.
Although I have no issue with away fans in our areas, what does not sit well is these fans then getting their colours out and displaying it openly when the home team is two down. Their hosts should know better, they should have more respect for those around them, and also their friends.

2 sat near us having a ball most of game hi fiveing etc, without a care in the world.
Then easily 20 young ens on the road/canal at Burnley Barracks whilst walking home acting like young kids. Playing chicken and being abusive to cars and passers by.
Must not have been on game as I left at 86 mins and they all had beers

Re: United fans in JML
There was one 4 rows behind us who decided, with 5 minutes to go, that standing up with a united shirt on and chanting that wanky u-n-i-t-e-d song would be a good idea.

Re: United fans in JML
The Burnley fans were less than united in every way. I don't think I've ever felt so let down to be a Burnley fan. NOBODY SINGING all match. What a feeble effort all round. The United fans sang their team to victory and our fans in all parts of the ground failed to respond.
What a defeatist attitude, no wonder the team looked half-beat and half-hearted on the pitch.

As far as I could see one idiot who decided at the end to display his shirt then goad the Burnley.fans. Was swearing and.trying to entice trouble. Stewards just looked at.him then politely asked him to leave followed by a few Burnley fans. I have no.problem.with them in home.ends.but he overstepped the mark.

They didn't sing any songs, more or less. Not sure about ticketing allocation but in that stand their should be at least as many BFC fans as them. Were they too scared to sing? if so then the stewarding needs to be reviewed.

There's away fans in the home end almost every game especially near where we sit in the JHU block 9 mostly coperate seats but why they sometimes need to broadcast the fact is beyond me, deserve a good kicking or being arrested
Incidentally was talking to couple of Leeds fans at half time and were sound as a pound as unbelievable as that might sound

To be fair, most of your posts are gibberish, almost as if you are off your tits on some sort of illegal substance most of the time, but this is almost unbelievable even for you! It is spectacularly *********** of weapons grade proportions.
Let me try to explain something to you....
Manchester United are very good at football. Much better than us. Manchester United fans are noisy as **** away from home, with a phenomenal (compared to us) repertoire of songs, and they don't shut up, irrespective of the score, for 90 minutes. They are impressive, and. I mistake. But if you think they made the difference to their already superior team, smoke on.

Bobinho, what's the difference between one set of fans and another?
... And no I'm not on Spice right now.
I think the fans have to take some share of the responsibility. What about the guest fans from New Zealand and stuff? I'm embarassed.
I spent over £100 on a train ticket and 7hrs tavelling for that...

I got in the cricket club just before the final whistle with my two young lads. A group of about 10 united fans singing songs about the Leeds fans getting stabbed and 'I wish it could be Hillsborough everyday'. Absolute ****.
They obviously hadn't been on the game.

Whatever we say about Southern based Utd fans they are excellent away from home. Watching on TV, 250 miles away and it felt like players and fans failed to respond to superior team and fans. Sorry! All a bit meh.

It happened in block 5 JML. I was close with the missus and kids - we were surounded by people shouting obscenities at the Man U dicks then pushed and shoved by people trying to get out of the way.
The missus was scared and said she and the kids aren't coming again. Thanks dickheads.

I too am embarrassed. You think the game was won and lost in the stands? You are not on spice I'll give you that. Whatever it is ur on, it's harder than spice. Really, what were you expecting for your £100???
Oh, and well done on spending your £100 for the train ticket you uber fan you. Here for Burnley???? Spend £100 for the train ticket against stoke? Hull? I suspect that money was spent elsewhere.
Re: United fans in JML
I also came to visit for the Palace match.
I expect the fans to be as a unit supporting the club agaisnt such opposition as United, even if we're 5-0 down at half-time.
That's what I was expecting.
It's not uncommon for a football crowd to be described as an extra player for the team.

Re: United fans in JML
There was a moment where United fans were exposed in our block towards the end of the match. One Burnley fan had taken exception which then led a group of Burnley fans about 8 rows back to get involved. These fans are probably in their 50's and hung around the exit gate to push and kick the United fan as he walked past them
Sad, pathetic losers.

As said previously. If you go in the home end either respect the home side or at worse be neutral. If you gob off or wear colours expect a slap. Simple as that really, even more so if the home side is loseing.
I'd say a similar thing would happen at most grounds in the country.

It was in the JML, I don't know what started the original exchange... it was just one supporter stood up and pointing fingers originally. But my main gripe is the group of supporters who it had nothing to do with, decided to get involved.

I was told the United fan took his top of and started waving it round his head showing his colours off, singing United songs getting flying kicked on the way out.
People tend to exaggerate on these type of stories though.
You could see a commotion from the back of the cricket field stand though.

I could see it at the bob lord end. Two united fans, one in a united shirt who from the CFS looked to be causing the trouble not trying to avoid it. Dancing and waving his arms in a united shirt. Obviously couldnt hear what was said.
Re: United fans in JML
Stewards were pathetic
I was pretty near to the fan who just stood up in his United shirt and started singing and beckoning Burnley fans. He looked off his head to me.
These stewards are the same ones who if you stand up when the TV guys are in the end box are all over you within seconds threatening to throw you out. Yet this United dick was stood up singing and taunting Burnley fans and not one steward approached him - it was unbelievable. The stewards should have been right on him and then handed him to the police and face the appropriate charges / banning order

Agree. Don't see really what there've got to sing about. The money there've spunked & the size & the statue with there global appeal there should every season be challenging with the likes of Chelsea at the top not winning odd cups here & there. Taking that into consideration I don't think I'd have much to sing about. Maybe repertoires of memory lane.bobinho wrote:Utter dickery.

Away fans almost always out sing home fans. It was the same at goodison last week, they only made any noise when they scored, (which was three times to many) unfortunately.
